Directions

Weigh your pet to determine the amount of Repta+Boost it will require. (If you do not have a scale, refer to the general weight reference on the back to determine your animal’s dosage. For mixing directions and appropriate dosing volumes, please refer to Table 1.) Always mix Repta+Boost with warm water (80-85˚F). Using cooler water could reduce the body temperature of the reptile, creating additional stress. Pull the correct amount of Repta+Boost into the syringe. You may have to dose (re-fill the syringe) an animal several times depending upon its body weight. Place the dose syringe to the mouth of the reptile or amphibian and gently infuse the Repta+Boost. If the animal does not lap the solution, then gently open the animal's mouth with the tip of the syringe. Do not pry the mouth open as you may break the animal's teeth or injure its mouth. Once the mouth is open, gently instill the solution. The glottis, or opening to the airway, is located on the floor of the oral cavity. Do not introduce liquid into the airway, as it can lead to aspiration pneumonia. Stainless steel feeding tubes or red rubber feeding tubes can be attached to the dosing syringe to deliver the Repta+Boost directly into the esophagus or stomach. The total number of calories may be split into 2-3 meals per day. Repta+Boost should be used until the reptile is eating and drinking on its own. If the animal does not show any improvement after 7-10 days, consult your veterinarian.

I got this for a leopard gecko that wasn’t eating for weeks on end and it saved her life! She was getting very thin, but after a few weeks on this ~3-4x/wk I noticed she seemed a bit healthier, and then after about 14 days, she ate mealworms again. Now I’m supplementing her and my other leo for added vitamins. They don’t love eating from a syringe, but they don’t seem to dislike the taste either which is good.

Our 5 year old leopard gecko Nova was on a very slow decline after our house fire 10 months ago. He stopped using his humid hide and before I knew it I was forcing soaks/steams to help with his stuck sheds. He stopped eating as ravenously and started refusing to drink water even when offered to his face. He dropped so much weight and looked like the crypt keeper. I was at a loss, our beardie Freyja who suffered burns, lost several fingers and the tip of her tail- is now doing great, yet my leopard who was mostly protected was now doing worse. Nova lseemed to lose his will to survive.

I remembered reptiboost when I was caring for our old beardie who passed in 2020, it helped her gain back some appetite and she gained some weight before we eventually lost her. I bought some again for Nova. I made up a slurry (did notice hard black flecks others mentioned, just avoided with drawing up slurry in syringe) and offered it to his face. He hates it but I just kept making him lick it off his lips. The first night I was able to get him to have .2cc! I actually cried because previously he would just not even try to lick water or mashed bugs off his lips before (yes- I mashed up bugs for him in my desperation).
I was able to get him to have another .2cc the next night and then following days he consumed more and more until he finally started drinking from his water dish and started using his humid hide more!

Now- our firecracker is back!! I used this for about 2 weeks, offering it to him 4-6 days a week with doses up to .7cc consumed. He finally looked BAR (bright, alert, responsive) so I offered him his live buggos and he ate!!! 😭♥️ It took a lot of effort to get to this point and some fine tuning in my husbandry- but Reptiboost made the biggest difference and now hopefully my boy can go on to living his best life and getting his fat tail back. 🥹

For anyone who is curious about other changes I made:
    – changed water dish to a much flatter one. It’s a mini bottle bubbler with food/water compartments. I also picked bright blue to hopefully draw more attention than the boring black/brown one I had.
    – new humid cave/hide with ceramic humidity dishes on top. I previously used a small plastic tub with a damp towel inside. I think it got too cold for him. It always worked before but I wanted to upgrade in case this was the issue. I spray the inside of the new cave with water every night to increase humidity. I think the ceramic dishes might make a difference? It’s hard to tell but I don’t have to refill it often, which tells me it’s not actually evaporating the water fast enough, hence the extra spraying. He loves his new hide though.
    – added overhead heating and a ramp. I have a heat mat with temperature control, so I know a good 1/4-1/3 of his 40 gallon tank was warm but I wanted to give him an extra boost. He already has a full spectrum light that’s on for maybe 6 hrs a day, but he doesn’t like how bright it is so I noticed him avoiding it when the light would come on. Despite this, I still added a nano dome with a 25W bulb- warm spot only read 83F, so I swapped for a 40W bulb and added a ramp. It now reads 91F in the warmed spot- perfect! I don’t ever see him bask directly underneath it but I think it adds to a warmer ambient temp.

Did any of these make a difference? I’m sure they did, even though my previous set up worked great for over 4 years- I wanted to rule out any possible issues. I can say for certain that the reptiboost made the biggest difference. Don’t hesitate to give this a try. Even if your reptile hates it, if you can manage to get them to eat a little bit at a time- it’ll work!

I used this product when my gecko is sick. It works great and easy to fed in liquid form instead of force feeding my gecko to eat a cricket.

We inherited a large boa constrictor who had been neglected for a while and was listless and weak. I couldn’t get her to eat or drink and was concerned for her survival. I purchased this and gave her the recommended amount and she perked up within 2 days. That was 3 weeks ago and since then she has eaten 4 mice and 4 rats. This stuff is amazing. If you have a reptile that won’t eat, get this and feed it to your pet, it will help immensely!

My Beardie hasn’t been eating well lately, so I got him this. It’s great that they include little spoon and syringes. It worked great, but for the first time, I saw my Beardie’s truly hating eye. He rejected the syringe and me with all his might and I was heartbroken.

Been trying to get my gecko to eat for awhile now. He’s been under weight but no one inmy city knows how to help him besides giving him pain medicine ( doctor of course) so turned to this and I never seen him eat till he was full. Even my other gecko likes it, nothing wrong she just wants to eat what her brother eats

We got a new juvenile bearded dragon, he was not eating well and was sluggish. Within a day of giving him this, he was more active and by the 3rd day he started eating on his own. Highly recommend!! Literally a life saver.

I have 2 other brands that is supposed to help my big guy get hungry and give extra nutrition and this seems to be the only one that actually works… the instructions are absolutely terrible there idnt even anyway any size bearded dragon and eat or drink that much fluid or food. So It comes with a scoop and a little cup I do 3 hearty scoops to the whole amount of the syring provided of water and add and little more if it’s too “pasty” it has to be a little thin for them to drink it. Not chunky and not thick or it also won’t come out of the feeder syring. Idk who th provided those directions but it’s crazy. Absolutely no where near the mixture amount. But every bearded dragon is different size and has a different liking. My big guy is all of 22 inches long and a far boy so that’s the dosage I use for him and I only do it once. Then the next day he’s READY BOYYY!! Any other brand I’ve tried hasn’t worked. At all… this stuff really does a great job and helps with added nutrition. Great product just you guys seriously need to review the instructions and re-write them.

I have only been using this on my Gecko for about a week now but haven’t noticed any changes in her appetite or weight gain.

My gecko wasn’t eating for quite awhile. I’m not working so I didn’t think I could afford a vet. I really didn’t know what to do or what was wrong with him. This was the first product I saw online so i ordered it not knowing if it would work. in a couple of days my gecko was eating again after not even having much of the product. I’m glad to know I have this product now in case he stops eating again. Excellent product!

Worked a charm on my Bearded Dragon, she went into brumation for almost a month and a half… She would wake for syringe feeding only and then go back to sleep. She held her weight quite well but was very lethargic after coming out of brumation (awake but would make no effort to move or eat anything).

So I tried repta boost and she quickly livened up, almost within a week of consuming daily doses. Now she eats and drinks absolutely fine. And I’m more than confident that it was the repta boost that helped her. Just a week after taking it she also had a full head shedding and she hasn’t shed in almost 3 years.

Best on the Market…………it needs to be available in the U.K. more often
    for reptiles.

Used this product whenever my reptiles(I’m a breeder) were not eating, brumating and sick.
I think it compares very well if not better than a product with a very similar name in the U.K. By vetarc

Used while bearded dragon wouldn’t eat during a course of antibiotics. Kept her weight up and by the time she was back on regular food she had actually gained ten grams instead of losing weight.
