The hot water stoped working after just one year and a bit.

My mail carrier delivered mine on the side with the top lower than the bottom. The box clearly states “This End Up”. With the switches off you can still dispense water efficiently. I was looking for a plain Jane no cooling and no heat dispenser, but I use the hot tap as much as I do the cold. The stainless steel cabinet is easy to clean and looks nice much longer.

The Frigidaire water cooler has a quiet compressor but the stainless steel reservoir kept overflowing when used with the Zero Water 5 gallon filtration tank. The Zero Water tank requires a reservoir with a minimum 6 inches of depth to function properly. Surprisingly, the Amazon.ca website shows a side by side photo of both items. I could not reach the Frigidaire customer support desk to ask if a fix was available for their product.

After renting a water cooler and paying 10x the value, we decided to purchase. This is a great cooler for the value. The only things I’ve noticed is that the water tends to dispense a little slower than what I’m use to and it does make a little noise when it’s on. Have not used the “hot” water feature but it does keep the water cold

If you want to drink more water, you can not get anything better than this. I barely drank water before I got this, and now that I have it I drink maybe a half gallon a day. The only downside is having to put a bit more effort into getting water if you want to save money. If money is not an issue for you, you could get a water refill service and they will deliver water to your door (this is the route that I went).
Most grocery stores also have refill machines where you can refill the 5 gallon jugs (not included) for only a couple dollars.

This product hasn’t worked well since we bought it. Heating element works sometimes, often produces lukewarm water. Cold water often won’t pour properly (nothing comes out). We’ve gotten by for two years but now it won’t work at all (cold water issue). Considering the cost this item isn’t worth it.

My old-school, monster of a water cooler died after 10 years of service. I decided to buy this model because it matches my Frigidaire appliance suite. My only complaint is the noise when cooling. It’s pretty loud. I do not use the hot water function. The dispenser allows you to turn the cooling and/or heating feature off if not being used. I did adjust the cooling temperature, a handy option, to make my water optimal temp for my liking. I recently went on a week vacation and turned the cooling function off so it wouldn’t continue to cool while I wasn’t there. I supposed I could have unplugged the unit but decided this instead. I’m happy with my purchase but found my old cooler to be of slightly better quality and I miss it.

I have used this for a year or two now and everyday I wonder why I don’t throw it in the trash. Cools water fine… If you can get the water into the cold chamber. It’s a 50/50 chance you will get water out of the cold side because it constantly gets air locked. Note the warm side never gets air locked. It’s an awful design and there is a reason it goes on sale constantly. The only solution is to let like a liter of water out of the warm side until the cold side flows. Wasteful. The only solution I have found is to turn the hot side power off and when I’m locked from the cold side I just get room temperature water and add ice.
I hate this thing. I think I paid $80 for it on sale and I don’t think it’s even worth $30.
