My first fear was that this would be too big. It’s a large bag and well suited to take on a trip for example, but it looks and feels ok when worn. I think it might not work for some people, but for my height it’s fine. The only issue I found was that the red paint did not look as nice and uniform as my other Frye bags (which are cognac and beige). For some reason the red was uneven on the bottom and on one of the handles, also there were some visible brown spots on one side. The overall quality of the bag seems up to Frye standards, but the red paint does not. As I bought this heavily discounted I don’t care, but at full price this would have been a deal breaker for me.
CONSUMER ONE –
The cognac color looked much more sophisticated and authentic in leather than the beige. I had originally ordered the beige and it didn’t look like the picture on the website. It was much lighter and looked less real in leather. The cognac is the color I liked better. I returned the beige. Too bad the cognac color wasn’t on sale. It’s pricey.

CONSUMER ONE –
I ordered a new bag, but received a used bag. It was folded multiple times and delivered not in a box. The dust cover was missing, the tags were missing. There were pen marks on the inside and outside of the bag.
Back it goes!

I love this Frye bag, it’s the perfect size for someone who likes to carry alot. I received it all wrapped up like it came straight from the factory. Beautiful leather and in perfect condition, the beige is gorgeous!

I had been looking at this bag forever and finally made the purchase when I found a retailer on Amazon with a reduced price. I think they must be discontinuing the Slate Color – which is the color I purchased, hence the reduction in price.
This bag easily holds my MacBook Pro, my wallet, makeup bag, a book, etc. Great travel bag! I’m a public speaker and I need to look nice while hauling my computer and connections around. I used to carry a bag with my laptop and also carry my purse but this bag allows me to just carry one bag and I feel less like a hobo with only one bag.
The leather is beautiful and so soft and will clearly look even better as it wears. The length of the straps are perfect for me as I hate struggling with shorter straps when I have a coat on.
Even though the leather is soft, it doesn’t lose its shape when it’s sitting is on a table. As always, I wish bags had a few more pockets but bag designers seem to hate the idea of pockets. This bag has two shallow, standard pockets on one side of the interior of the bag and another zipper pocket on the other side. There are no exterior pockets which is kind of a bummer because searching for my phone is always such a hassle. It also has a little strap that you can use to connect your keys to instead of having to fish for them at the bottom of this generously sized bag.
Frye bags can be a decent financial investment but in my experience they last a lifetime. I can’t imagine anyone would regret buying this bag: great leather, great size, great quality and oh so pretty.

Compré el color beige esperando que fuera un tono más claro, la devolví porque ya tengo la coñac y me parece un color mucho más combinable. En cuanto al diseño, tamaño y la calidad de la bolsa no hay ninguna queja, mi único detalle fue el color. La bolsa si es un poco grande, pero habrá de gustos, a mi me encantó el támaño para uso diario para el trabajo.

Pretty bag but stitching is already coming apart. Reached out to Frye to see about getting is repaired (I am willing to pay to have the bag repaired. I was not asking for money back or anything like that.). I never heard from them. Zero response or acknowledgment. I have many Frye bags/wallets. This is the first one to have the seams come apart. Disappointed in the bag and very disappointed in the lack of response from Frye.

Love this purse! The leather smell is nice, it has nice comfortable straps, big, and love the pockets. Perfect for a mom on the go!
