The pillow that goes around the edge is not supportive at all, it hardly has any stuffing in it. For the price I would expect it to be better quality. When I lay on it I can feel the floor underneath it so how is it suppose to provide support for a large dog. I have bought beds for half the price that are better quality.

I bought this bed for my 9 year old boy Jack since his old bed wasn’t really up to par anymore. He took to it right away and loved cuddling with my toddler in it. We had the bed for a couple weeks before it got a hole in it, but that was no problem. It was small and never got any bigger.
About four months after purchase we found out our sweet dog had an aggressive form of advanced stage cancer. From diagnosis to his passing was a duration of five days. Those five days were spent in this bed. He didn’t want to sleep anywhere else as this was the only place comfortable enough for him. We slept on the floor next to him during that time, and occasionally he would move to the floor and we would sleep in his bed. Even for human standards this bed is very comfy. I’m very glad he had a soft, comfortable, safe place to be during that time.
Now, 8 months after his passing, we haven’t had the heart to get rid of the bed. My toddler has played on it longer than my dog has at this point. We’ll find her just flopped down on it, reading a book, having a tantrum, playing with her toys, etc. She seems to enjoy it just as much as our dog did. It was well worth the money, and if we ever get another dog I would purchase again ♥️

I absolutely adore this bed. My frenchie has some hip issues and is getting older now so I wanted to try and invest in some kind of orthopedic bed for him. I decided on this one after reading so many mixed reviews and I’m happy I did. I’m actually getting another one for his 2 sisters really soon!

It’s so comfortable and I love the pillow edging around the bed. (I even fell asleep on it and I slept like a baby lol).. Comes with 2 seperate zippered compartments so you can take the cover off when washing it. The outside is machine washable but I don’t place it in the dryer, I just hang dry it (Dries in no time). Foam material inside is not meant to get wet but if it does, it dries fairly quickly. Spot cleaning is easy on the foam mattress inside if your dog has an accident and it gets stained.

Mattress comes folded up and vacuum packed so it does take a while for the foam to shape itself again. (it doesn’t effect the quality of the mattress but the foam does tear easily, so be careful and gentle when removing it from the package). I see many complaints about this but honestly, with a little fluffing and use it flattens out and takes shape in no time! You can move the foam around inside to adjust it/fluff it around. Eventually, it’ll fluff up and look like the photos I’ve attached below.

We’ve owned this bed for over a yr now and it wears beautifully. Holds up well (not for constant chewers, they’ll probably chew through the fabric).. that being said, it’s pretty durable (I have 3 frenchies that use it constantly). My dog bam bam and his new sisters love it so much I’m going to get another one soon. My dogs love to rest their heads on pillows so this was perfect and exactly what I was looking for.

The orthopedic foam seems to be pretty good quality and it really provides a lot of cushion and support for my 6 yr old frenchies hips and joints. He used to wake up a little stiff from the other beds and ever since I got this one, he’s been waking up feeling great and ready to play. Worth the investment in my opinion for sure!
