Because of the wear on my yoga mat (Manduka GRP, loses stick after a year) it’s like doing yoga on an ice skating rink so I got these grip socks (and a pair of grip gloves elsewhere) to ensure my practice is safe and not slipping. I’m a size 8 shoe. They’re comfortable when they’re just on me, not too tight on the toes. But during practice, anytime I jump forward or there is tension pulling the sock away from toes, toward the heel (warrior 2, triangle, side angle, goddess pose etc) the part that’s wedged between the toes feels like it’s cutting into my skin. It’s literally painful. And you can’t adjust them simply by pulling on the part on the toes, I have to stick my hand into the sock into the wedged parts between the toes and push it out. Honestly it’s a pain in the A (and toe crevasses) to do this for every yoga session. I need a better solution.

As Advertised – great socks for pilates or yoga

WhiteLotusOM –
Love these for on my yoga mat and also started a healthy workout routine on my Cellerciser but don’t want to use sneakers on it so I sometimes use these or soft type shoes, works great!

I have slim size 6 feet. I wore these to yoga and initially they were okay but by half way through the class the socks were digging in to my toes. I was in agony.

TL:DR – Great grip, better than the full socks that slide off, but the cutouts cut off the circulation in my toes.
I have 3 different pairs of yoga socks and these are my second choice out of them. Pros are that they grip very well so definitely provide stability and are pretty comfortable. The con, at least for me, is that about halfway through class these socks are cutting off circulation around my toes. The toe cutouts with no traction slide because the rest of the sock is gripping so well. I either have to take them off or leave half my toes out which defeats the purpose. I prefer the socks where the whole toe area is open

Disappointed in these. They are very small – and us skimpy/thin material – very little material on the bakc of the heel so pull off my foot when doing exercise class. I have not had this problem with other ‘toe socks’ from other manufacturers.
I bought these because I wanted to try an open toe version of a toe sock. But I have gone back to wearing the previous ‘closed toe’ versions I have.
I don’t recommend these

These work great- keep your feet from slipping during yoga poses. I only gave 4 stars for comfort because they fit each toe individually so sometimes they dig in between my toes but I think i will get used to that (I’ve only used about 3x). Overall, would recommend if your feet slip. I wear a size 8.5/9 US and sizing is fine for reference.

Fit well on toes but immediately the heels came off the back of my feet. I wear a size 8!so a very average size foot. I may be able to sleep in them but I doubt I’ll be able to wear for yoga because the backs don’t stay up. Would compare with other brands.

If you are looking for socks to do Pilates, look no more. I have literally bud Dawsons of socks from dozens of brands, non-brands, unknown brands, expensive, cheap, and you won’t find a sock like this one. I can tell you you will not slip while doing your exercises while you’re using them. On top of it all, they’re not expensive, they’re thin, trust me you won’t regret it; I didn’t.

I love these!

Comfy and grip is good. Good for my Pilates workout.
