These are just like the balls I’ve used in classes. They’re firm enough and soft enough for workouts, always seems to be a bit of both with these. They seem very durable, and the pink is exactly as expected. Love that this set comes with a pump, it’s a good pump, and that there are two, gave my mom the other one so now she has one too. Had a little trouble inflating but I assumed this was due to my hands struggling with inflammation and reduced sensation – but I think it had more to do with not reading any directions. I just opened the package and plowed right in confidently despite my hands. Ended up getting help with it, in my defense it’s been a while since I inflated anything. Had been thinking it was time to get one of these for home use, especially since it’s a small item that is easy to keep around the house without taking up much space but adding a lot of options to working out at home. These seem like a very good quality and like they will stand up to a lot of use.

I have two larger balls that I use for balance and back stretching exercises……this small size is great for putting between my knees or feet to apply pressure and strengthen those muscles as I recover from a three surgeries that have destroyed my strength and fitness that I am determined to get back at age 71! I am just realizing it is a much longer process than in my younger years when all I had to do was put on my running shoes and do a 5-mile run each day! Even when I became a walker about 12 years ago (after three lumbar disc herniations and two knee surgeries) I still did my five miles 🙂 But, three surgeries (appendix, gallbladder, and sciatica back surgery plus a broken foot and ankle over the past three years have set me backwards 🙁 Hoping to get back to greater fitness, and these balls are helping me to do it! Balance and strength are SO essential as we age, and these are a gentle way to get through it!! They are very durable (my dog has tried to play with them), very easy to inflate, and they hold the air! I am very pleased with them!

I ordered these for my barre classes. It’s a two pack of assorted colors, I got two teal ones. It comes with a pump, two screw on pump nozzles, two balls. Each ball has its own white stopper, and there is an extra third one included. you need to take the white plug OUT before inserting the black pump with nozzle on then pumping up the ball. Pumps up pretty well, but as soon as you take the nozzle out to replace with the white plug a ton of air lets out. I found it works best if you have someone else with you to put the plug in ASAP but that doesn’t work well if you are alone.
The angle of the picture i attach with the measuring tape isn’t good, but this pumped up for me to about 7 inches, not 9. I’ll try to do this again to get it up to 8, but getting to 9 inches feels like it would pop, or the plug replacement wouldn’t happen fast enough to get to that size.
The ball is smooth, whereas some other brands have a slightly bumpy texture. I prefer a little bit of bumpy texture for grip on clothing when doing glute and core work. This works fine, but it did keep slipping out and needing readjustment.

I was expecting something closer to a yoga ball in terms of the thickness of the rubber. These are not only smaller in size, the rubber is thinner and bouncier
These balls are quite reminiscent in size and texture with the same sort of stopper to a ball I had as a kid; mom called it a Gertie-Ball. I had never heard the term prior and haven’t heard it since.
I’m not much for Pilates or anything of that sort but it’s nice to have something for kids to play with should any come to visit.
The pack of two is handy should you receive a young visitor that doesn’t want to part with it when they leave. You’ll still have one left to do your exercises or for subsequent youngsters to play with.
Even inflated to the maximum, the ball is still quite light and soft. That makes it a good choice for gentle indoor play. They can also be used for more rambunctious play in a gymnasium or outdoors. They are easy to grip, can be thrown a good distance and are highly unlikely to cause pain or injury should anyone catch one in the face, making them ideal for games like dodgeball. I might consider trimming the stoppers though. The quality of the balls seems to be quite good.
The pump is functional & inflates the balls pretty fast. It seems slightly less substantial than the balls do.
Extra stoppers for the balls and an extra tip for the pump are included; better to have them and not need them than to need them and not have them, I always say. Speaking of which, a notable omission is a tool- like the one yoga balls come with- to pry the stoppers loose to deflate them.
That oversight aside, this is still a very nice pair of balls; They are a good size, easy to grasp & pleasant to play with.
