Love the watch overall! Unfortunately came with a scratch on the glass in the box but I had already taken it out and synced it to my phone before I noticed. I’m going to contact Amazon and Garmin about it since it’s sort of annoying to pay so much for a watch and have it be aesthetically damaged from the beginning. It says return unused so not sure how that will work out.
I’ve wanted to upgrade from my Charge 3 (Fitbit) for a while now because it still tracked accurately but the screen had went black and I wanted to see heart rate/clock, etc. Garmin has great reviews and I wanted more stats without having to pay for a premium Fitbit subscription monthly. First off, the step count is less than half of what my Fitbit is recording daily (wearing it on my other wrist to compare). Not sure which is more accurate. I’ve heard Fitbit overestimates steps, but I’ve never used a pedometer to check. Surprisingly the sleep amount/times is pretty much the same, although it has very different measurements for REM, deep sleep, etc. compared to Fitbit. I knew when I made the purchase that Garmin’s sleep stats aren’t as in-depth as Fitbit’s but I do appreciate the pulse ox reading setting. Battery life also seems okay. First day playing with it and syncing it to get different apps/activities set up drained it, but I’ve worn it for a few days and it still says 4 days of battery left. I think it will take some getting used to, but I’m excited to wear it to the gym tomorrow and see how it tracks intense exercise. Having bought it on Amazon Prime Day I saved a lot of $$ on the watch so it’s worth it, but for the original $400 I may have considered returning it.

Aesthetically pleasing. Would have preferred the case to be gold tone as well. I find the plastic makes it look cheap. It lost a star due to this. The swipe/wake isn’t as responsive as I would have liked but I’m on day four and my battery is still above 50%. It has a lot of features that I find useful. I use a shortcut for my timer as I use it to time my tea steeping for a perfect cup. The strap is also cheap looking. A smooth strap would have looked nicer in my opinion but I ordered replacement straps. Overall though it’s a great watch and will keep it.

I love love love this watch. It is a level up from the apple watch in my book. The battery life is incredible. it is simple and stylish. It tracks workouts, sleep, and steps with great accuracy.

I love this watch so much! I run, often go for very long walks/hikes. I also swim, indoor tracks, and treadmills. The gps tracks beautifully! After having issues with my fitbit tracking I was ready for an upgrade. It does struggle with distance on a treadmill, but you can enter info from the treadmill at the end of the session. The watch actually prompts you to enter this information. I love the soft gold and beige color. It’s truly stunning and so far has gone with every outfit! Now if Garmin will just make a nice soft gold band to wear with it (or someone else but haven’t had luck finding one).
*here’s your warning* get a screen protector!
Walking into a store my kid bumped into me. I quickly moved my hand to catch them. Then my watch bumped a concrete pillar and put two scratches on the screen. I was so mad at myself! I immediately ordered screen protectors.

O relógio é como qualquer Garmin, excelente qualidade e muito bom para atividade fÃsica. Contudo, os Garmin são usualmente grandes e esse é muito bonito, dá para usar diariamente e não apenas para a prática de exercÃcios.

I gave it a year to see how it goes before writing a proper review. I expected Garmin to be a better brand than Apple plus it looks much better and more suitable for serious workouts.
After a year of using this watch I’m completely disappointed. There are quite a few reasons why, but I would like to focus on the most important ones for me personally. The first and most important one is it doesn’t read the heart rate properly about 30% of the time during my workouts and shows it around 30-50 lower than my actual heart rate, last like that for 5-10 minutes, then gets back to normal. It really annoying, especially because it affects the results, burned calories, etc. and it saves them like that, and therefore it affects the workout plan entirely. I wear the watch properly and tried to reset it and wear on my other wrist, that didn’t help. I experienced the same issue with my previous cheap $50 fitness watch (that’s why I replaced it), but didn’t expect the same thing from the $500 Garmin.
Also, there is not much AI or logic behind the system. I’d say you should try manually to make it work properly for you, otherwise it’s annoying and doesn’t make sense. It’s like it can increase your step goal ad infinitum. For example I walk around 8000 steps and then after it wants you to walk 10000 steps, and then one day you walk 14000 steps and it increases your step goal up to 18000 after – no, Garmin, if walked one day longer than usual it doesn’t mean I want to walk all day every day since that day. So, things like that you should set up manually including water consumption etc. Another moment – it requires for you to wear the watch all the time even during your sleep to make all the data work correctly, that’s for me is not comfortable, especially to sleep with it plus after wearing it for a few days in a row I get irritation on my wrist. So, the conclusion based on my one year experience – I would not recommend this product, I had more negative than positive experience , that is not what you expected from a $500 product and prestige brand. One star for that sometimes it works properly, and also one star for the step counter, but I have it on my phone too, so…

I’ve been hesitant to purchase a fitness watch because I’m not much of a watch person. After TONS of research I finally decided on this one and purchased it on Amazon because it was $100 cheaper than anywhere else. Honestly, I was half expecting to receive a refurbished watch because of the price disparity, but I was surprised to receive a brand new watch. I never take it off and sleep in it. It’s lightweight and tracks so many things that help me keep my health in check. I couldn’t be happier with this watch!
Great battery life for DAYS and very short charging time!

My Wife has tried several FitBits and Apple Watch. All their advertised charge time is off, none lasted more than 3 days on average if turning on all the sensor values. No subscription like FitBit to collect all the Data, and the Garmin App is much better in our opinion. Like my large Fenix 6X Pro Solar, the Venu 2S with all sensors on gets on avg 7 days, very nice! Charges to full in under 1 hour and multiple watch faces available. The sensors in Our opinion work better than others… evening sleep Dx, steps, stress, O2, all seem more accurate…. Plus the Garmin GPS & Map features at tops, all without a single subscription required.
The new Venu 2S is a much smaller & thiner than the previous Venu model. Very nice size for ladies wrist, and looks very nice in style. Also picked up a few extra 3rd Party bands… one a Leopard pattern that she loves with the Gold watch color.

I have used a Fitbit for two years. It was never consistent with my steps and stopped holding it’s charge after the first year. My band connecter broke a month after the warranty expired. I did my research and read reviews and decided on the Garmin over a smartwatch due to it having way more exercise functions, battery life and the testament from friends that theirs lasted for years! I have not been disappointed. Set up was super easy with online tutorials. I love that I don’t have to pay for an online app for it. It synched to my apple phone with no problems. I love how easy it is to read the screen and different design features. Lastly, I love how easily it downloaded my Spotify music. I am willing to pay more for such quality. I will update this review after I have had it a few months but so far I am sold!

I’ve been a devoted Apple Watch wearer for several years. I decided to make the switch for a more attractive round face and longer battery life, so glad I did! I’ve have the venu s2 for about three weeks. I’ve only charged it two times. Charging takes less than one hour, display is beautiful, exercise programs right on the watch, and super user friendly. Highly recommend!

This watch is AMAZING! The battery lasts around 10 days, the background is customizable, it’s comfortable and looks nice. I honestly have ZERO complaints.
