Supports iPad in application of remote learning lessons. Heavy duty clamp attached to the upper adjustable portion works well, and the one-handed adjustment makes height adjustment trivial but still sturdy. Heavy wide base with nice flat surface. I don’t know if it’s fully “pro” grade, in the sense that you would give this to the Rolling Stones or a busy karaoke bar, but it’s better than low consumer grade. You can buy a lot of similar units for 1/2 to 2/3 the price, but they tend to have crappier bases and I would gladly buy this same unit again and probably will.

Bought this to replace another brand of clutch mic stand, of which I’ve bought three. We’ve only used this one a few times. It is very well built, has a larger round base making it less easy to knock over. Im hoping the clutch lasts. Husband is real pleased with it. I’m tired of buying mic stands.

This is a really nice mic stand and it will probably do great in a studio setting, but don’t plan on it holding up for live performances. I ordered this thing in April and by August is already so loose. It seems flimsy at the connection point where the handle grip is. Again, if you’re just using it for the stage situation where you have varying heights of people speaking, it might be a useful my stand, but if you are a performing artist, do not buy this thing.

Over the years I’ve had a number of mic stands but this one is the most stable and well built. I don’t think I’ve ever found one that I would consider a better product.

Just the job

Me encanto, tiene excelente soporte, tengo dos micrófonos ahà y sin ningún problema.

This came without the weighted base that the microphone pole screws into. I checked to make sure that this should have been included and I ordered it again and the re-order contained the weighted base.

I haven’t had it terribly long, true, but I won’t be adjusting it much (if ever again, really), as I have it set up to hold a reflection shield. It will likely stay where it is for a long, long time.
For a microphone, this is a pretty good stand. Don’t expect it to work for a big LDC (6-10lbs/3-5kg), as it isn’t quite up to that, but for a small mic, it is quite nice.
As stated before, I did hook up a reflection shield to it, and it is OK if you don’t actually extend the section with the grip. If you do extend it, the 1kg or so of the shield isn’t well supported, and the section bends with the weight pretty badly. I am lucky in that this isn’t a deal breaker for me, since I could anchor the top of the stand to my wall (due to proximity) and all is OK. Again, I’m not moving this thing around…
So, if you need to use this for a small mic (something like an SM58), you’re good to go. Go with something big, heavy, and on a side mounted shock mount, and it might not be the best for you. I’m giving it 4 stars, as I do think that it is nice for the price if you know what you’re getting into and it fits your needs.

The 12″ base is quite a bit larger than a standard mic stand base. It is heavy and sturdy. If you need a stand that won’t tip over, this is it.

I really like this microphone stand. Used it for a couple of programs so far and has been very sturdy. I think the push to raise feature is very genius. No need to un-tighten something to move the stand up or down. With just one hand you can raise the microphone. The only thing I would comment on would be that the base is a little wide. I understand its good for stability, but i would like to see it with maybe a heavier but smaller diameter base. But thats just a minor issue, other than that its great

I am so happy with these mic stands. The bases are wide andheavy, the stands are steady, and they are easy to adjust. Similar, cheaper stands feel less sturdy and break easily – not these. I highly recommend them. I will buy more.

Highly recommend!!!!!
