Big Don –
This is the Fifth “Gator Protector Series” bag I have purchased and use for my current working Drum kit. Two of the bags have been in use for more than two years and the other about 8 months, after wearing out older bags of a different brand. I purchased this particular bag for my Kick Drum after the good service I’ve had with my Toms and Snare bags. Decent padding and Zippers. I recommend you go up one size on your Bass Drum and Toms with legs or mounts, just for the ease of packing and unpacking. My Mounted Tom is a 12″ and I use a snare stand with it and it has no mounts or holes. If it had any kind of mount or suspension system I would definitely go with a 13″. The folding legs on my 22″ Kick Drum slide in much easier in the 24″ case and the little extra room seems to offer a little more protection, even just from the extra space around the drum. It also seems to allow a little more ventilation around the drums if I’ve been in a humid environment. My drums work anywhere from 3 to 6 days a week and live in my van. They get hauled in all at once and strapped on a cart, so they are never “babied”. So far these bags are doing their job and seem well worth the money. I have an old, high dollar snare drum that got carried in an older hard Fiber Case, with no padding. So I put it in the bag, then in the hard case. Works great.
I can also recommend using some Zipper Lubricant that you can find here on Amazon, that looks like a Chapstick and lightly lubricate the Zippers about once a year. My Bags have gotten damp several times and it just keeps the zippers working smoothly. I also leave the Zipper open about 4 to 6 inches if my drums are going to be sitting in the Van for more than a couple of days. It just seems to allow moisture to keep from building up if you are constantly in and out of indoor, outdoor, hot and cool environments. I haven’t had any rust on my drum hardware, but I have noticed some appearing on my stands that are in a hard rolling case of another brand. So, it’s best to allow the drums a little ventilation if you have been in that type of environment to prevent trapped moisture.
I will be buying more of these bags as I need them, and probably going to replace my old cymbal bag very soon.

I have been using these cases for a little more than a year. I have been transporting my drum set to different venues (outdoor, indoor, studio, etc.) and they still work and look great. I use them regularly and I haven’t had any problems. Zippers work like new, straps without tearing everything is till working like new. Now, I do not recommend these cases if you’re traveling overseas or outside the country by plane since they are soft cases. Hard cases would do the job. Great product!

Fits ok, fast delivery

Fits my Yamaha Recording Customs perfectly!
Durable and semi waterproof if hauling in a truck bed with other gear.

I love the bag but had to return it. I have a 18″ floor tom with my Pearl set and the standard travel bag sets never allow you to pick the sizes for the actual kit you have, but I ended up purchasing a travel set that usual 16″ floor Tom and the travel bag I have by the same company is satisfactory. The bags are awesome and you can rest assure that my kit doesn’t get damaged during the weekly transport of my kit to my gigs. I highly recommend the bag for the drums.

I used to travel a lot with my drums without any cases. Just threw them in the truck and unloaded when I got to the gig. Wow, I didn’t know what I was missing. The cases make it so much easier to travel with your drums. Each case has its own strap, so you can easily sling it over a shoulder. This will turn 4 trips from the truck into 1 or 2.
These are also great cases for storing your drums. They are nice cases, so they will protect your drums over time if you need to stash them.
I got these for my Yamaha stage custom standard 5-piece. This case fits the following sizes:
-14″ snare
-12″,13″,and 16″ toms
-22″ bass drum
I actually fit my yamaha snare and 13″ piccolo snare in the same case. They don’t look like it at first, but there’s more room than you think in the cases. They do fit snugly to the toms and bass drum, but I found a little extra room for my piccolo.
If you have a fusion kit, look to see if they have a set in your sizes. This is for the standard sizes I listed above, but fusion kits are more popular now, with the 10″ tom, so make sure you get the right sizes.
***Pros 🙂
-Sturdy cases. Protects drums from dust, weather, moisture
-Straps make them easy to carry
***Cons 🙁
-None that I can think of

These cases are great quality as expected from Gator. Thick padding and durable material. Only thing missing is a separate hand handle from the strap for added convenience. My old Proel cases have them and they’re great for easy handling.. let’s me carry 4 cases at a time – 2 on shoulders, 2 in hand.. saves trips back and forth during load on/out for the gigging musician (I play 50+ shows a year so this is important to me). Don’t get me wrong, you can still carry a bunch of cases, it’s just not as ergonomic as what I’m used to.
My last cases put up with 17yrs of use and abuse, these ones look like they can do more as they are a much better build quality.
Hope Wilson –
Snug fit, could be a little bigger to leave more room for the legs but decent padding and fabric.
Jason Mifsud –
Fit well, not to snug for my standard sized Ludwig’s

A pesar de ser solamente tela son de buena calidad, los materiales son resistentes y los acabados son buenos, protegen muy bien la batería además de que hacen que sea mas fácil de transportar.

As I have a 7-pc kit, I bought the 5-pc set and added this and another size bag, along with the 22″ cymbal bag. I’m not sure how long these would last for a full-time working drummer, but for this part-timer as well as for storage, they are perfect! Sufficient padding, fabric, stitching, and zipper quality, and at the price are well worth it. The only thing to look out for is that the floor tom bags don’t allow enough room for the legs. This is not a big deal for me, because I have a couple of other gear and hardware bags that they can go into. Protect your investment!

La mejor opción en relación calidad precio, buena protección para mi batería.
Único detalle es que no viene con las mismas letras bordadas que en la publicación pero pues es lo de menos

Good quality, would definitely buy again!
