Received this case for my PRS McCarty 594 Singlecut today. Snug (perfect fit). This is a substantial case and I will travel with confidence knowing that my guitar is protected from airline bag handlers.
It’s multi fit so it should work with my PRS SE Custom 24 as well. I’ll try it out and update the review as necessary.
This case is much heavier than most, but for long distance air travel, I want the confidence in this case. The wheels will help navigate airports!!

I’m an American living is Asia and travel quite a bit. I can honestly say that I now have no worries about my guitar being damaged. Now all I have to worry about is if it gets lost!!! I have a samsung tracker in it so hopefully it doesn’t! Seriously though, this thing is a tank!!! Exactly what I needed. Had to have it shipped because I couldn’t find one here. Shipping was free but the import fees were 100 bucks. Worth it for piece of mind.

I guarantee you will not be disappointed. like a glove fit and amazing protection

Guitar slides back and forth not what you want for a flight case. I returned this. The Les Paul case however fits perfect

I needed to fly to Detroit from LA, round trip, with my bass. Upon arriving in Detroit, there were a few minor dings on the case, so it had obviously been tossed around a little. On the inside, my bass was in perfect condition. However, I was disappointed to find that the top panel on the inside of the case had fallen off. This is the only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars. It’s unacceptable for a $300 case (after taxes) to be falling apart after one trip.
Aside from that, this is a great case. The wheels are great for transportation, the handles are spring loaded, there is enough storage room inside to bring your pedals, chords, etc. and MOST IMPORTANTLY, my bass remained protected and unharmed. It also came with TSA locks, which was not advertised, but a pleasant surprise.

I have three strats, and originally bought two SKB Injection-molded ATA guitar flight cases. While the shell was similarly crush/water proof great like the Gator, they fell way way short on the interior! Neither SKB cases fit my guitars at first (had to forcibly compress the guitar in) then the neck never laid flat, and it wobbled considerably. In stark contrast, the Gator case hugged my Stratocaster like a baby… The interior is super plush, the design gently holds my guitar firm, flat, stable, along with the gentle opposing lid compression foam. In addition, there is enough space for two small fiber wipe-down towels, to lay on the neck and body, something that I, and all my gig buddies do. I really like the latch system all staying on the bottom half of the case, along with the cases lock back lid, allowing for wide open and stable guitar access. The case construction is second to none!!! Built like a tank, no blemishes (like the SKB case), and closes securely and evenly. I especially like the padlock holes, with proper plastic coated cables, secured to a solid object (at home or in the car), along with airplane travel handling, I now feel my expensive guitars are much safer than ever before. The only down side is the size and weight, but you can’t have it both ways, so deal happily with the extra bulk, knowing you won’t find a better, plush, perfect fit, and more secure case, ever!!! Please, don’t even mention the cost, it’s really cheap when put into perspective what the ladies and Men spend on a purse or man-bag. It’s all quality, and quality costs, be glad someone makes such a great case. I won’t even mention my buddy who got his $3,000 guitar stolen from a quick unassuming walk-by from his open car, while loading after a late night gig. He now owns this case, and its cabled/padlock first thing when loading. Gator really cares…

The good: The case is clearly a well made flight case. Fits all of my P/J style basses and Peavey’s Millennium/Cirrus body shape. Latches are well designed. The hinged lid prevents the case from closing inadvertently which is a nice plus. Handles are excellent, roller wheels are a nice plus, and the interior of the case is well finished.
Things to watch out for: Case is heavy and slightly oversized (to be expected with any flight case). The bass sits in the case backwards from any other case you are probably used to (bass body is on your left when the case is open instead of your right). Neither of these items hurt the case, but it is worth noting if you are comparing this case to other alternatives.

Edit: I called Gator and spoke with Jacob who made things right. They gave me a brand new Gator Titan Series Strat Style Case replacement. I’ve had it for a few months now and no issues so far. Thank you for standing by your product. Originally, I gave a 1 star review, but for offering the excellent customer service and a replacement I’m revising my review.
Old review: I had been meaning to get a new roadworthy case for my guitar for quite some time and narrowed my choices down to this Gator Titan Series case and the SKB iSeries case. Despite one negative (but very detailed) review about the top insert falling out, I decided to give this case a shot. Unfortunately, I ran into the same exact issue. Not only was the outside of the shell scuffed when it arrived, but the top insert immediately fell out when I first opened the case. The styrofoam board insert was very poorly attached with a few random strings of glue. The outside of the case seems well made and I like the power claw latches. Overall I’m very disappointed, especially for a case that costs around $300. Fortunately, Amazon customer service, as always, was good about allowing for a quick and relatively easy return. If you’re looking for a well-built case I would look elsewhere.
