This is the second one I buy because the first one ( different one) was made of such a poor quality, I had to return it. This one is a good size, good quality, I use it in my coffee station where two coffee makers and a kettle are plugged. The on/off switch offers protection because it allows me to turn off if I’ll be gone for a couple of days

This product is truly a lifesaver. I have some very complicated in and not closely relate not closely spaced, plugs and appliances. The 10 foot cord on this particular item is wonderful. It allows me to in and not have dangling cords or things stretched beyond their limit, I recommend this cord to everybody.

When its ability to prevent surges expires, the blue LED goes out

Does not protect against lightening strikes if that’s important to you
The components in surge protectors that provide the actual protection eventually burn out. At this point the “surge protector” becomes nothing more than a power strip.
This surge protector is nice in that it has a blue LED providing a visual indicator it is still providing protection, according to the sheet manual that comes with it. So you are encouraged (again according to the manual ) to glance at the indicator every so often. It will be interesting to see how long the unit lasts. (I got it for the Nordic T 6.5s treadmill which suggests a surge protector.) But so far I like it.

Flat plug in, cord length is exactly how I needed it. Works fine so far. No complaints.

I like this surge strip because it is well made and being able to close off the plugs that are not in use keeping dust bugs and dog hair from getting in. It is easy too use and gives protection from any power surge or overload. It is the perfect size. I use mine in a older house with a converted one car garage ie man cave with a desk and antique toy and baseball ie: (Yankees) collection. With only one plug available this power strip gave me added lighting and for this hot summer I can now plug in a fan. Will be buying additional to replace the one’s in other rooms. Money well spent.
