I have used Boomers for years on my long scale basses so thought I would give these a try on my short scale. They are GHS boomer quality and all that. But the .95 E string just dosent sound good at all. I am used to a .100 or .105 on the E string. I tried adjusting my bridge to compensate for the sad sounding E string but could not get it to sound well at all. Maybe should have tried the .107 set. Wasn’t worth the $25 for me.

Ottime corde per basso short scale, come corde ruvide sono davvero fatte bene hanno un bel suono, costano di più ma ne valgono tutti gli euro spesi, io 24 ore dopo le ho ricomprate per scorta…… questo modello sono per basso scala corta, ma ci sono anche per scala lunga, il sound è veramente bello io le ho montate su un hofner violin igniotion…. sono molto adatte per questo modello di basso le corde scala corta

Etant luthier je cherche toujours à fournir la qualité maximale en rapport avec le budget alloué aux instruments commandés. Monté sur une basse démontable de voyage de ma conception en “short scale” 762 mm de milieu de gamme, après une semaine en place sur ce modèle. Le comportement est assez bon , pas trop de distension des cordes, pour résumer ce qui est présenté sur la pochette est correct et vrai… Le commentaire tient compte du type de corde et ne pourrait se comparer à d’autre bien plus agréable au touché mais au double ou au triple du prix… Bon dans l’ensemble!

Ghs Bass boomers are great anyway, but awesome short scale. Sometimes the E on a short scale can be floppy and/or mushy, but not so with these on my SG bass.
