    I like these a lot. They do have a more balanced feel and tonality. Also, there is a lot of body / fundamental to the sound. I like that. I put a set on a modified Epiphone EB-0. It doesn’t lose the low end heft and adds a low mid push. The balanced tension is really appreciated on the E string, and I’m able to intonate easily.
