Small but for me it’s perfect fit. I didn’t want the big box so I got this one. Had to buy a GIVI mount but it fit right on. I also got a small soft bag that mounts to the case. Fits my needs.

I’ve had this for a good while now and have ridden at least a 1k miles with it. it is sturdy and holds up. like all things you have to account for the weight on the rear so even if you don’t have that much in it will still ride differently but you really wont tell unless you pay close attention or go 80+MPH starts to get a little squirrely and I had to move my weight more towards the front wheel. but at lower speeds there is no difference. also this bike was not really designed for it but hey. it can hold a decent size lunch box and a change of close or a decent amount of items for a weekend adventure. it mounts easy and can be removed just as easy. the helmet is a medium in the picture. I’m not to worried about it not being able to store the helmet as I usually just carry it or mount on the side but I do put my jacket, gloves, shoes, etc. in the case. so far I have not had any issues with water getting I the case my morning commute to work starts around 5am while there is still some heavy moisture in the air on some days after a rain night. I took a duffle bag strap(s) that has hooks on it and now I have a better way to carry it either shoulder strap or had straps to make it easier to and from.

Outstanding case when used on medium to larger motorcycles, mounting system adaptable with a proper mounting plate and the results is a very stable useful aluminum case which will protect anything you put in there in any sort of off encounter accident recommend JV products. This is one of their better ones

Givi is Italian for “Giv Mi all your money” 🙂 I like the box. I have the matching side boxes. The bike is a Vstrom 1000. Size for the bike is spot on. The attaching mechanism is great for this line. The box is sturdy and light. Everything works as it should after 10k + miles.

I love this case. the look, the locking, the materials. but, it leaks after riding in the rain for 30 min. I have isolated the leak to the seal between the lower part of case and the upper. the lid seal is fine. see pic for detail. I’m going to just seal it with silicone but a GIVI should NOT leak at this price point. Amazon seller offered to send new seals instead of allowing me to return but this thing is pop riveted! poor service from my perspective. But I like the case and I need to use it this winter in Oregon so I will just fix it. buyer beware.

This is a heavy duty box and when you put stuff in it, it greatly raises the center of gravity on your motorcycle, which negatively effects handling. Although the quality is very good, I am sorry I bought it. I have since switched to soft luggage which sits much lower on the bike. Lesson learned.
