Not only is it the perfect weight and fully adjustable—-it’s logical— and your instincts take over—if you’ve had music stands in the past this is worth the investment x 10!— the iPhone attachment is spectacular -and you get a nice plastic folder w/plastic sheets to put your music in (about 18 of them)-and a nice big music clip as well as the spring loaded holders are so much better than the plain metal wire—give it a 10 /10! Easy to set up and works very well when I sit reading guitar music with this adjustable stand. Holds 3 pages of sheet music in place perfectly securely and stable.

This isn’t like the old school music stands we had as kids. It’s fairly sturdy, though mine has a slight tip to it, that i have to keep straightening (or i would have given it 5 stars).
I like the springy arms. I can position them wherever i want over my music.
It’s really great for holding thicker music books.
It comes with a folder and clip. I am using those. It also comes with a phone holder. I gave that to my daughter to attach to her drum set. It also comes with a carrying case which i think would be useful if you had to travel with it. I don’t; so i can’t attest to how long it would hold up.
I wish it went taller. You can see the height of it by my guitar. I think it’s best for sitting on a stool or chair. If you stand and play, the bottom lines of music may be lower than you prefer. They are for me and I’m 5′-7″.
Overall, I’d recommend this music stand.

Bought the first one as a gift for a child in their school band. Wanted something much more stable than the standard “wire music stand” that are uber portable.
The first one has been used nearly daily for several years and is covered in stickers and sparkly dots and paint and nail polish and is not properly b-e-a-utiful and every bit as sturdy and useable as the day it was purchased.
The recipients younger sibling was stealing it in order to practice and so it was a no-brainer to buy another one.
What I really like:
– The top is mounts onto the stand with more than just a friction fit. It fits tightly but then there is a small thumb screw to lock it down.
– The extension loosens easily and then locks back down tightly.
– The base legs can be extended to different lengths. So the stand can have a narrow, but likely more tippy, leg extension. Or very wide and stable. On the carpet where this is used it was set in the middle on day one and has never been changed.
– It comes with a travel bag for portability. As far as I was told this has never been used as the stand stays at home.
This music stand is well made, has great finishing details, and is very useable. If one were to die in an accident, but that is the only way it would happen, I would replace it with the same thing without and question.

Purchased previous same Gleem Music Stand. The turn screws, from use, will become stripped and you need to repair. Other than that stand is study and holds heavy song booklets and/or reading materials … easy to adjust, setup and break down. Love the cell phone holder and all the other accessories, bag, clip, binder. Very reasonably priced, great value. When carrying and transporting, a bit on the heavier side.

My other stand broke because it was plastic but this is all metal and is very sturdy. It’s a bit weighty for me but I have a bad back so I can’t carry heavy items. The case and all that come with it are great additions and it is easy to put up and take down and get back in the case to take to my choir rehearsals. I also use it to hold a second laptop while I teach on one and use the other for class vocabulary lessons and it holds a lot of weight! Worthy purchase for those wanting a sturdy, professional music stand for a great price!
