These lamps have made the look of our home, just the way we like it. A country feel and a nice clear warm glow from the lights (check for suitability). I bought five of these and they are all installed. Very nice and highly recommended. The price was also much better than any competitor!

Love it. Got many compliments.

We canโt wait to install this light. I love the speckled glass. Itโs a good size and a nice weight. Itโs very handsome. Weโll probably get another one to go on the screen porch. The only thing I donโt like about is we have to unscrew the cap to install a new bulb but, weโll probably only have to do that once every five years. Plus I think the shape of the outer glass gives it itโs handsome look.

First of all the manufacturer should rethink the cheap Styrofoam packaging they are using. It’s awful. I hate this brittle styrofoam. It breaks apart very easily and gets stuck everywhere due to the static cling. It’s very annoying and messy.
Also I’m not sure what I think of this seeded shade. I thought it was a defect when I pulled it out of the box. Looked like it was all wet on the inside. I didnโt notice this was a seeded design glass shade feature in the item description. After installing it itโs pretty nice overall. I intended to try a lightbulb security
Camera in there but decided against that now on account of that seeded shade design. It works well as a porch light fixture anyway and I think Iโll try a motion detector light bulb in there.

Our outdoor lights were 20 years old and it was time for an upgrade. With things being so expensive, we didnโt want to spend a ton of money and we found these. We ended up ordering four.. for a garage, one for our porch and one for our back patio. These were so reasonably priced and they give us the perfect look for our style!

This light is just what I was hoping to find for my back door – it’s a really substantial light for an extremely reasonable price. I love the seeded glass and the vaguely nautical/industrial vibe – both elements of my front porch light.
My 16-year-old had it installed within 20 minutes, and it looks great. My only slight fault with it is that the metal piece that goes under the shade is just ever so slightly off from parallel to the mounting wall. You’d literally need to be standing with your face in the light to notice, though – so I don’t, ha!
I’m doing lots of updates around my home, and learning that it would be very easy to spend TONS of money for something that fits your aesthetic – or to pay less for something tiny or chintzy (or worse, ugly!). This was a very good find; I didn’t have to settle for any of those things.

These light fixtures look great (my opinion of course) and the large glass ‘globe’ allows the bulb to emit a lot of light, which is what you want with outside light fixtures. I bought 3 of these in total, they came with what I needed to install them and installation was pretty easy.
The only complaint I have is the two M4x10mm phillips drive screws used to affix the ‘globe’ to the fixture. These are so problematic to install while trying to hold the globe in place. I ended up replacing the screws with stainless steel thumb screws to make the process less frustrating and also tool-free (I don’t have to find a screw driver in the future to replace the bulb). I would recommend the manufacturer sell these fixtures with thumb screws.

Just installed this porch light today and so far so good! It was a replacement for an older, ugly porch light that came with the house. This light literally took less than five minutes to completely install. Here’s an installation tip: remove the lower glass and metal encasement before installing. The top part of the lamp is very light and can easily be balanced on a ladder or against your shoulder while attaching the three electrical wires with both hands. The lamp is solid and looks and feels much more expensive than its actual cost. Also, it hangs straight up and down unlike what some of the other reviewers suggested. This porch light is highly recommended.
P.S. I purchased this lamp new but when I opened the box, it was actually used but was in good condition so I decided to keep it. Is it just me or is this happening more and more often with Amazon?

Nicely designed, easy to change the bulb.

Cosmetically it’s quite attractive. It’s fairly flimsy metal but should hold up. Two things to be aware of: (1) it only comes with one set of mounting screws, which may or may not be the right length for your installation depending on how flush your gangbox is. I bought two, and on one I had to cut the screws off, and on the other I had to buy longer screws. (2) If you are mounting on exterior clapboards, the long base makes it a little finicky. On one of mine, I had to drill a new set of holes so it didn’t mount over two different clapboards, which would have created a large gap and exposed the wiring to the elements. A smaller base would make it more flexible.

I really love the clean design and sturdiness of this light. My home is a 100 + year old board and batten house with a craftsman kind of vibe. I just painted my house and wanted to upgrade the porch light and this looks fantastic. I have no doubt that this design will work with many home designs. Go ahead and order the
Ascher E26 clear decorative bulb to go with the light as it works perfectly.

Really well made light fixture, very sturdy, beautiful and easy to install.
My husband installed it himself in 20 minutes and it looks great on our 140 year old home.
Thick glass, nice sturdy iron and looks perfect with an Edison bulb, Iโd buy it again.
