I can hit the button 10 times in a row, in the same spot, and get 10 different results. Im half convinced at this point that its not a taking any measurement and is just making up numbers to display.

I was tired of the under the tongue thermometers and my niece had one of these forehead ones for her kids and I really liked it so I found this one. It’s really awesome. It’s fast, the readout is easy to see and it lights up. There are indicators that light up green, yellow or red to quickly let you know if the person’s temp is normal or if it’s getting dangerously high. As far as I can tell it has excellent accuracy. It’s small enough to fit in a purse or travel bag and it comes with a little cloth bag to store it in.

This is the first forehead thermometer I have tried and decided to give it a chance when our old-fashioned under-the-tongue thermometer needed a new hearing aid-type battery, which came in a package that cost more than the thermometer itself.
I was skeptical since you hold this a distance from your face, but it was on sale for a good price, so I decided it was worth a try. I was amazed that it not only gave an accurate (I think) reading, but it was immediate. No waiting several minutes to see if you have fever or not. Just click it on, point at forehead, click again, and there’s your temperature. I am impressed.
I don’t know about longevity or future accuracy, but it worked great right out of the box. It also came with a nice velvet string bag for travel and even had the batteries included. And since it used regular AAA batteries, which I use for other devices, I always have them on hand.

This is a wonderful product. After using a regular thermomentor and dropping of ceramic tiile one day i thought i would try something different. This thermometer is fantastic and has an “infra’red” alert when temperatures is high or very low. I highly recommend it and it’s a reasonable price too.

What it takes to activate the device is not what is described in the accompanying instructions. Also, readings appear to be more than a degree off. But it does give a reading that can be used. I got what I paid for.
