These are at 75% brightness on one of a few Halloween settings. I didn’t use the screw hardware and I’m hoping they’ll stay put. Each has a 3m backing tape that’s super strong for such a lightweight little square.
I did also purchase other outdoor sticky light hooks which I used to lift and secure any loose areas.
I figure if the sticky stuff doesn’t hold, I’ll use the screw brackets it came with. But it’s worth trying without them first.
Looks great. App is easy to connect to. I’m buying more sets for some rental homes we take care of. Super happy with it.

I did the whole outside of the house already with permanent light pro so I decided to try these inside. Need to fix a few but they look amazing. Can’t wait for Halloween.

So worth the money! Brightness is amazing!! So many different color patterns to choose from. Installation took awhile, the sticky’s didn’t do it but they came with hardware to screw in which Is what we did.

Was very excited to order these on sale only to discover the power supply is NOT outdoor rated. Unless you have a garage or want to have a 3rd party weatherproof box installed for their indoor ps, don’t bothertt. Also, the light aren’t just adhesive. They are adhesive AND should be screwed to the house as well. Returning, very disappointed in this product.

These are a gamechanger. Tired of hanging light during Christmas. Look no further. Theses lights are bright and good quality. The sticky tape on the back is very good. The app is easy to navigate. You can set the lights to any color you can think of. They can be set to flashing or just any one color of multiple colors. 10/10.

Wow, these look so much better in person then the photoshopped pics. I can’t understand why companies insist on using fake pics of their products. If the product doesn’t look the same, then customers will have higher expectations and be upset.
In this case the lights are so much more vibrant and bright. So some may pass over these thinking they don’t look great. Companies just need to take actual real pics of their products.
I don’t know what wizardry they used to get these little lights to put out so much color and brightness. But they definitely should pay those wizards double.
We live in an old highrise that has a large balcony but it’s all brick and concrete. So we got these to use inside. Of course, because of their amazing brightness level they need to be used dimmed down inside which is very easy to dial in with the Govee app.
Like all Govee products the lights pair perfectly with the app. Govee’s app can do what other smart light apps can do. But Govee has also built a community post area in the app and has fun games and point system and shopping deals.
The app let you choose solid colors, preset Scenes (light show modes), a DIY feature for making your own light show creations, very useful timers and schedules, music reaction modes, and more.
The only reason I took a star off is because lately Govee has gotten lazy with the Scene modes. This light still has plenty of cool Scenes but many are missing. Even Starry Night which is my favorite and has been on all the lights I’ve ordered is missing. All Scenes from past lights should be included on new lights unless they don’t work with that light. In Scenic Dreamview there are a small number of Scenes to choose from (the feature needs more) and Starry Night is one of them. If I add this light to Scenic Dreamview and set it to Starry Night it works just fine. So it should be included in the light’s Scenes. If they add more Scenes in an update I’ll upgrade this to five stars.
I forgot to mention mounting. They offer two options. There’s a sticky on the back of each light for mounting. I definitely wouldn’t use that for outdoors. Then there’s brackets. The brackets are nicely thought out. The light sits in the middle and the cord coming in and going out of the light clips into the bracket. I think that’s great because even though they are permanent lights made to kept up year round, some areas are just so extreme in weather that some people might want to bring them in for parts of the year. Here in Texas with triple digits common in the summer the extreme heat can do a number on plastics and electrical cords. With the mounting brackets you can easily put them up during Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years and take down for summer. The brackets just stay there and make it easy to put them back up.
Overall a really great light set that’s so bright and vibrant.

Bought these lights for our house right before the holidays. These lights are incredible and durable. They are easy to use and survived both Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. Worth every penny.
