As a family always on the go, we depend heavily on our slow cooker to have meals ready in a pinch. When our previous slow cooker finally gave out, we began searching for a replacement and stumbled upon the GreenPan Elite 8-in-1 Programmable 6-Quart Electric Slow Cooker.
At first, we were apprehensive about spending $250 on a slow cooker, despite its promising marketing and sleek design. However, I cannot begin to express how pleased we are with this product. The GreenPan Elite has proven to be worth every penny and then some.
This slow cooker is incredibly versatile, allowing us to prepare a wide variety of meals effortlessly. Its programmable features make it easy to set cooking times and temperatures, ensuring perfect results every time. The 6-quart capacity is ideal for our family, accommodating everything from weeknight dinners to larger gatherings.
One of the standout features is the quality of the materials and construction. The GreenPan Elite feels durable and reliable, with a non-stick ceramic coating that makes clean-up a breeze. The design is not only functional but also adds a touch of elegance to our kitchen.
If you are considering this item, I highly recommend it! You will be so happy you did. This is such a great product—I cannot recommend it enough. For any busy family or anyone who loves the convenience of slow cooking, the GreenPan Elite 8-in-1 Programmable Slow Cooker is a must-buy!

This thing works great. You can sauté and brown your meat before slow cooking your meal and save on cleaning extra pans. I haven’t had a chance to use the oven-safe crock in the oven, but it’s non-stick surface is super easy to clean. The only downside is it doesn’t have a lid lock if you like to transport your slow cooker to group functions.Although I haven’t had an issue with spilling yet, I bought some small bungees to keep the lid closed with soupier dishes.

We got one of these to replace an instant pot that, while more versatile, didn’t work very well as just a slow cooker. While the Instant Pot could also function as a pressure cooker, its low heat setting wasn’t adequate for getting good results as a slow cooker.
This one is just a dedicated slow cooker that has worked great for things like soups, stews, chilis, etc. And it has a higher heat function available to braise the meat or vegetables in the same pot before adding the stock and the rest of the ingredients. This is super convenient and makes it much more of a one-pot solution than some of the cheaper options.
It has some lengthy timed heat options, is simple and easy to use, looks and feels great with high perceived quality, and everything has come out really well in it so far.
And as you’d expect from Greenpan, the highlight of this product is the ceramic crock pot itself. It’s removable for super easy cleaning, and it acts as non stick as any Teflon coating. I think it may be dishwasher safe, though we hand wash this, since it’s so easy and quick to do so. I don’t know if you can get just the crock replaced if it’s broken or worn, so it would be wise to be gentle with it to ensure a long usable life.
Overall, this thing is big and heavy, but it’s been great. Worth the extra dough over the cheap budget ones, IMHO. AAA+++

Colors not exactly as shown on photo ad. Gold is darker. Black looks blue-ish. But beautiful anyway.
Pro’s: Sear / Sauté mode works good. Like the capacity and the coating. Not like the non-stick Teflon who can chip. Not at all. I Feel safe to cook in it. Inner pot is not heavy.
Con’s: It has one job to do as a slow cook…Slow cook on a reasonable time. First dish was Chili. Thank God I cooked the ground beef throughly before because even on Slow cook on High for several hours, it never went hot enough. To achieve a decent result you have to add many more hours. Not pleasant. I agree with some comments below on that issue. At that insanely high price for a slow cooker, and not able to bring it to a higher temperature for the food, I would definitely not recommend this item.
I have many others slow cookers, different sizes, capacities, and it is by far the worse. Big price, big disappointment.

I love this crockpot! The searing feature is so handy! Temperature controls seem to work fine so far.

This is a beautiful product, have never had an appliance with such a hard surface and easy to clean. It slow cooks as it should and the flexibility it provides with its options for time and temperature make the perfect product. I wish Greenpan made an electric fry pan with the same quality. The braising feature is excellent and browns and cooks a pot roast or other meals conveniently and deliciously.

I am the queen of crockpots in that I have all different kinds
I bought this one in April to go with my new green pan cookware
First I tried cooking a roast. 8 hours on low and still too tough so I tried three more hours and not much better. I thought it was the cut of meat
So this week I tried red beans and rice. Soaked beans overnight, cooked on low 8 hours and beans were still hard. Then tried 8 hours on high. Finally cooked. It appears all temperatures are set way too low.
Too late to return so I guess I am stuck

I purchased this expensive appliance with the hopes it would be a top of the line appliance. Didn’t take long and the labels on the button all washed off. Then liquid splashed from the liner down into the bottom and it won’t work. Keeps kicking a code. Lesson learned. Big waste of money

Cheaper quality Slow Cookers burn your food. I spent more for the Green Pan Elite 8 and it is amazing! Very good quality, perfect size, goes in the dishwasher, and food didn’t burn! And finally, it is very good looking on the counter. Love it!

I replaced a cuisinart multi cooker with this because the non stick lining started chipping off, twice! They replaced it the first time but the second time I was on my own.
So I shopped around and found this one. The only feature I don’t like is that the cord is bulky and is supposed to wrap around brackets in back for storage. Not so easy or neat to do. (the cuisinart cord disappeared into the back by an internal spring when done.) Other than that, I love using it and find reasons to do so. The browning feature is great for making soups and stews that require searing the meat ahead of time, and cleanup is a breeze.
