This is a fantastic, very professional-looking case. I highly recommend it. It’s built tough and has very soft inner black padding. My classical is a BIT too small for the case, but i don’t have a single guitar that fits absolutely perfect even in a case made specifically for that guitar…there’s always a bit of wiggle room and it’s not a big deal. I feel this case rivals more expensive cases by far. You can’t beat $50.00! Buy it! You won’t regret it.

The case itself looks great! However…it barely fits my girlfriend’s guitar (it was a gift) and I would have known better had the seller included dimensions for it to assure the buyer’s guitar does in fact fit. This item is very large and sending it back would be very costly.

This is a great case and a great buy. I got it a few days ago for my Valencia VG-50 Custom model, took it to upstate New York for the weekend and felt really confident letting the case take some minor hits while getting in and out of the hotel room. I have to say that it is a very good case that offers very good protection.

This is a very well constucted, sturdy, and handsome case for not a lot of money. I’m very please with it. I bought it to transform my wife’s old flamenco guitar into my travel guitar (it had a beat up old chipboard case before but not a scratch on the guitar after 30 years in a closet) and just returned from a trip on which it accompanyied me. It fits the guitar well; has a nice plush black interior; a nice-sized compartment under the neck for picks, electric tuner, etc.; and four nice latches that close perfectly. The gold-colored thread that runs around the top and matches the gold latches is a nice, rich touch.

I bought this case for my Ibanez Talman a couple years ago on a hunch that it would fit.

I was looking for a case, but fitted cases for the Talman were crazy expensive. I called a local guitar shop that had a Talman on the shelf and they said it fit fairly well in the classical case they had in stock, so I thought’ I’d take a gamble. This classical guitar case fits it almost perfectly. I wouldn’t trust this case to ship as freight or to use as a checked bag on a plane because there is a little wiggle room, but to keep it safe while I bounce back and forth from jam sessions it performs admirably.

Other than the fit, the finish is fantastic. The buckles click down solidly and it’s very well built. Padding is fantastic and the cubby hole is big enough to stash picks, capo, fret cleaner, you know the drill.

Summary: Affordable case for the Ibanez Talman if you don’t mind a little wiggle room.

Extremely nice quality guitar case for the money. If you are looking for a very good deal on a classical guitar case, you will not find a better deal than this one. In my experience, this has been a GREAT case for the small investment. It has been used for years now and still looks awesome. The hinges are heavy duty, and the locks are solid. This will protect your investment in your instrument very nicely and will give you that secure feeling you want to have when you are traveling or taking your gear out of the home. If you have a “special” guitar that really means a lot to you, then it does belong in a case at least this nice. Gotta protect that beautiful instrument and keep the woods in good condition. This certainly helps.

I bought this case for my Córdoba C5-CE, because the factory-supplied gig bag started falling apart after one trip outside the house.

The fit around the perimeter of the guitar is excellent. It’s very snug and secure, and there is just enough room for the electronics to squeeze in. The fit at the front is tight enough to leave string impressions in the lining on the lid of the case. The fit at the back is just a touch loose with this guitar. I don’t think it’s loose enough to matter, but I wouldn’t want to use this case with a guitar that was any thinner bodied than this one.

The compartment under the neck rest is typical for a guitar case in that it isn’t big enough to hold much more than a few packs of spare strings, a string winder, some picks and so on. Since this is a classical guitar case, it would be awesome if it had a compartment somewhere big enough to store a foot rest, and that is the one big thing I will miss about the gig bag.

The case came packaged in a flimsy piece of black fabric by way of shipping materials. I can’t remember the name of the fabric, but it’s the kind of stuff they staple under boxed springs. It’s kind of thin and gauzy, and tears easily. I think that fabric was basically just there to protect the brass tone hardware, and provide a place to stick the shipping labels and so forth. I’m amused that they shipped the case in what amounts to a wisp of nothing, and it survived all the abuse between here and China completely unscathed. I think that says a lot about how this case is going to hold up, and I think I made a good investment.

I’d love it if it had more storage room. It’s a minor quibble, and I’d give it 4.5 stars if that were possible.

I bought this case for my Alvarez Regent series RD16CESB Dreadnought acoustic electric dimensions:41 x 15.8 x 4.2 inches it would not fit lenght or width my Yamaha 12 string wouldn’t fit either. The outside dimensions of this case are less than what is stated. Other than that it is a very nice well made case for a smaller guitar.
