I have played a Martin Grand Performance cutaway for every performance since 2014. It has been my work-horse guitar. But I found I needed to drop the tuning or capo to sing comfortably in open tuning as a singer-songwriter.

I was pretty skeptical that much good could happen with a guitar under $600. But I was pleased when it came. It was delivered in a timely fashion, tuned, and perfectly strung. The tone was I little muddy initially, but that has improved since using my ToneRite. I haven’t been able to put it down. I can sing all the songs with no strain with the same fingerings but without the need for down-tuning. The tone through amplification is absolutely amazing. I would recommend this guitar to anyone wanting a great guitar for the price. The jumbo body is not much wider than my Martin, but the scale length is much longer. This is a must-have for anyone who likes a more mellow tuned instrument.

I love the sound of this guitar! A unique experience to have a baritone guitar. Full, serious sound! The sound of it plugged in is very good, very clean and faithful to the acoustic.

The guitar sounds great, but it came damaged,as I knew it would. The box that it came in was not damaged in any way,so the guitar was damaged before it went into the box. There was a small chunk of wood missing from the front of the guitar that looked like somebody banged the guitar against something and damaged it.I fixed it with nail polish and it doesn’t look too great, but it works. I knew better than to buy a guitar online but I did it anyway, and its not worth the hassle of sending the thing back.Like I said before, the guitar sounds great but their quality standards are not good, and it simply comes in a cardboard box with no bubble wrap,no gig bag,no nothing. It does sound good for a for a guitar that was made overseas and for all that I want it for.You are better off buying from a music store where you can actually see what you are buying.

Great guitar and plays nice but was delivered damaged without damage to the packaging, so it was probably damaged prior to shipping.

First of all I needed a guitar tuned a lot lower to accommodate my low register female voice. It’s a big guitar with heavier gauge strings and a bigger stretch between frets. I have small hands so is a bit of a challenge for me. It’s not going to resonate like a regular acoustic. It has a warm subdued sound which some may describe as muffled but it sounds really good. It does take more finger and hand strength to play. Other reviewers( utube, etc) recommended finger picking over strumming which I would agree with. It sounds great through an amp. The guitar is well made.
Wish I had discovered this guitar years ago. Unfortunately no case comes with this guitar so I ordered a hard shell case for it through Sweetwater. The other guitar I was contemplating was the Alvarez baritone acoustic electric. I would love to try that one out someday.

Guitar sounds great, but when I got it,there was a chunk of wood out of the top of it. I filled the damage in with finger nail polish and super glue. The box was not damaged at all,so the damage happened BEFORE it was put in the cardboard box to ship. For me,and what I wanted the guitar for,it wasn’t worth the hassle of sending it back.Like I said,it sounds pretty good for the price.
