I bought this guitar to use for finger picking and it meets and exceeded my expectations. It’s very light, so it may not travel real well, but I plan on using it mostly in the studio. Not an ornate looking guitar, but it sure gets the job done. I can’t wait to hear it when it gets broken in.

First off…this guitar really looks nothing like the online pictures. Rather than a medium golden brown with lots of grain showing, it’s more of a dark brown dye that all but covers up the grain. It looks like heavily dyed rather than just finished. It also doesn’t have the depth & richness I was expecting based on the build, and the reviews. Don’t get me wrong…it’s an OK guitar, and it’s a quality build. Just doesn’t have the look, or sound, I was hoping for.

For sound and ease of plat, this Guild can’t be beat.

Just a great guitar. It has a beautiful appearance. Craftsmanship is excellent, and the all-mahogany sound is wonderful. It projects well, but is a bit different than a typical spruce-topped guitar in that the bass is emphasized and the treble not so much. I just love it. I want to play it so much I miss it when I have to go to work!
