Ok, so let’s do a full review here so I don’t miss anything.

    ___________
First off, the design. At first, these are a bit tough to get used too. What really makes it tough is how close they sit to your eyes, and this is understandable as it’s by design. They do this so they can keep in the moisture so your eyes don’t dry out nearly as fast as they would without the glasses on.

As for comfort, once you get used too how close they sit to your face, then they’re very comfortable. I tend to use a headset a lot of the time, and these compliment that very well. You really don’t notice them on your head other than the yellow tint to everything.
    ___________
Second I’ll talk about durability. These feel flimsy. I haven’t really tested how much abuse they’ll take, so I don’t have much input. One thing I will say is they are light, so that’s a plus side to the flimsiness.
    ___________
Finally, I want to talk about how they work as a whole and how, as a gamer, they can help you.

As I said before, these are very comfortable. After the first couple of days you will start to notice that your eyes are relaxed and you no longer have strain your eyes when gaming/browsing. The yellow tint cuts a lot of the harsh light that monitors and artificial light both produce. You won’t have that “ouch my eyes” moment when you’re looking at something with a white backscreen. Amazon won’t blind you when you’re looking at the next pair of glasses to buy because it’s been mellowed out.

As I said before, these sit rather close to your eyes, so they’re going to take a few days to get used too but; there’s reasoning behind that. Them sitting close to your eyes reduces how dry they can get, and especially at nights, or after long gaming sessions, reduce the soreness that comes with staring at a screen all day long.
    _________
    Conclusion (TL;DR):
Very nice glasses that work very well. Their design is impeccable and, while being unique, really brings a class of it’s own. They reduce eye fatigue and keep your eyes moist for those long gaming sessions. The only two drawbacks that I see from these are that they seem rather flimsy, but I’ve had them for a year now and nothing wrong with them. Also, they smudge very easily.

    Highly recommended.

Buenos materiales, no se cansa la vista de estar varias horas frente a la pc. No lloran ni arden los ojos. Se ven mejor los colores

The glasses provide a little magnification. Haven’t been wearing eyeglasses and it took me a while to get used to seeing through the edge. Might worth trying the bottom-edge-less one.

Stylish pair of glasses that help minimize eye strain. Before these glasses I would have red blood shot eyes from looking at a computer all day. Now I never look at a computer screen without wearing these. Only complaint is that the side arms are a bit thick to use with a headset, so don’t recommend using headphones that sit on your ears with them

First let’s review the most important purpose of these glasses, eye-strain relief.

I’m a software engineer who works at a computer 8 hours a day and I used to always get that sand in the eye, have to squint feeling throughout the day. Depending on how tired I was, it could be worse. For whatever reason, something in these glasses work. The very subtle magnification, the glare removal, and/or the light filtering must help my eyes. I’ve even talked to an ophthalmologist about these and he couldn’t give me an explanation why. However, he did mention that people with blue eyes can be more sensitive to light. Maybe wearing sunglasses would have provided the same relief, but I didn’t see that as an option in a professional environment. For the record, I have perfect vision; I don’t need reading glasses and I can even read those tiny little letters on the eye exam chart.

Bottom line is, they do, in fact, reduce eye strain for me. Whether it’s placebo or science, I don’t care, they work.

Now, for the other aspects of the glasses:

    1. The style. In my opinion, these are the best styled Gunnar glasses. I have three pairs. Intercept, SheaDog, and Vayper. These SheaDog versions are the most normal looking for a work environment. Other than the yellow tint, people at work don’t even mention these. The intercept version, on the other hand, were more noticeable. They’re big and blocky, and people will easily notice that. If this is something you care about, the SheaDog are easily the most professional looking pair.
    2. The fit. They are very comfortable, I don’t notice that I’m wearing them, the nose support doesn’t hurt, and they are extremely light and don’t fall off. That’s all you need.
    3. FOR PEOPLE WHO DON’T NORMALLY WEAR GLASSES!: I have never worn glasses in my life besides sun glasses. When I first put these on, the thin rim was extremely dis orienting and obnoxious. You can ALWAYS see the rim and it was the most annoying thing when I first put them on. I almost returned them right then and there. I actually bought the Vayper version in an emergency since they have bigger rims height wise. I had a business trip coming up in two days and needed a pair other than the funky Intercept version. HOWEVER, I decided to give the SheaDogs a shot. The good news is, after I wore them for a few hours, I got more used to the rim. I suspect after more time, I will no longer notice the rim. I asked some people who wear glasses 24/7 and they have said the same thing about getting new glasses with different lens sizes. Getting used to the rim in a different spot can take days or weeks to get used to, even for normal glasses users. My point is, don’t let this alarm you and give them a good week before you decide you can’t stand it. To this point, if you don’t care about style at all, the Intercept versions have the biggest lens, yet worst style, the Vayper are middle of the road with medium style and decent sized lens. The SheaDogs are super slim, yet are super stylish. If you can get used to it, the SheaDogs are the best. I wear the Vaypers at home and the SheaDogs at work.
    4. Price. Yes, they’re expensive. But, they are super light and are easily the most stylish version of computer glasses out there. If price is a problem, you can get them used from Amazon, something I would recommend. I got a used pair and there was absolutely nothing wrong with them. Maybe the box was more dented, but whatever.
