I couldn’t see installing top-of-the-line tuners in a bolt-on Epiphone, but these gave it a GREAT ‘gibsony’ look at feel. Locking makes stringing and tuning very easy. Well worth the paltry sum for a cheap knock-about

Vraiment extra extrêmement satisfaisant!! Bonne qualité, je suis vraiment très satisfait du produit, sera encore à acheter si je me procure un autre Gibson merci
Joe Mitchell –
Perfect fit, high quality

UPDATE
after one year, 2 of the bass side tuners failed while tuning. the upper portion separated from the flange. I had to completely remove and clamp the parts together and re-pin. I will not buy this set again.

Goes in tune and stays there.
Chipgoon –
Je les ai mises sur une Vintage VS6. J’ai dû agrandir les trous, mais vraiment ça tient bien l’accord.
Fred Van Genk –
Very reasonabley priced tuners for my Epiphone les Paul hold tune well and fit perfectly
Fred Van Genk –
La dureté des mécaniques est TRES irrégulière. Certaines tournes très bien (voir trop sensible), d’autres c’est quasiment impossible de faire tourner la mécanique. Grippées.
Le mécanisme de verrouillage est très bien, les écrou de montage également.

tbh i thought they locked the machines after guitar was in tune. turns out they lock the string to the tuning peg.. a feature that isn’t really needed if you know how to string a guitar., but that’s on me. nice looking set, work well. stay in tune. very affordable. i put them on a chibson i picked up.

Good tuning stability and locking was easy to use
Paul Bullard –
they are the correct tuning pegs for my lpj. so I’m happy with them.
my only suggestion to people is to check which tuning pegs you need, as i bought some gibson tuning pegs previously and they were not the right ones. so if this is your first time. check. also i can only imagine these are quite fragile, so don’t drop your guitar, as this is why i had to replace mine. haha

I was not able to mount one of the tuners out of the box, it would not take the mounting screw.
Rather than going through the hassle of returning, I was able to clamp the tuner down with locking pliers and used the mounting screw to ream it. Had to apply pressure to get the screw started, was somewhat fiddly. Also left a rough surface where the pliers clamped the tuner, it scratched my finish a bit when installed. But I was able to get my guitar installed.
Not sure how well they hold tune, but they look nice. Would have probably left 5 stars if not for the annoying lack of quality control.

Tuners arrived in what appeared to be great condition. Nothing looked broken. Install was easy. Upon stringing, I did find that one of the locking pins had a sharp piece of itself at the end that cut my string. Luckily, 2500 grit sandpaper smoothed it right out. It appeared to be a manufacturing flaw. A little jagged piece hanging off. All tuners work great now. No problems. Just be sure to inspect all of your tuners before installing to make sure there no issues. These tuners now sit on a 1960’s TeleStar Acoustic that needed new tuners. I’ll definitely be buying from Guyker again. Their stuff is good and they are affordable.

A bit worried about buying these after reading some reviews, but glad I took the chance. They look nice, not great, but good enough for my $200 Epi Les Paul Special, a HUGE upgrade from whatever crap tuners were on it from the factory for sure. Installed easy (you will likely have to drill the holes a bit larger if your tuners have the push in ferrules and not the screw in type, if that is not what you want, you need a different set of tuners with the push in ferrules).
They are a bit inconsistent in the resistance of turning the knobs, but not too bad and may free up a bit over time (they are a bit stiff, but I’d rather them be stiff instead of lose). The sting locks all work well, but remember these are not high precision, so keep your expectations realistic. If you want Grovers, buy Grovers. These will probably work like true locking tuners will if you take your time, but I left a bit of string so I could wrap the sting at least once around the peg after locking and I did not overtighten the locking screw as the treads are not as precision looking as higher quality tuners.
Again, for under $30, I’m impressed. They look good, function better than expected, and give the old Epi a more vintage style look. I would not put these on a Gibson, but for a cheap Epi or equivalent, they are more than adequate and I’d buy them again.
