Squiggles Mc Doogle –
I installed these onto a Harley Benton LP Jr. double cut and they were a simple direct replacement.
pegs were the same size and existing screw holes lined up close enough so no filling or drilling was required.
Locking feature works perfectly and there is no slack or binding in the tuner’s gears.
Great cost effective upgrade for an inexpensive imported guitar; highly recommended !
Dirty Detter –
El producto es de buena calidad y el vendedor es ALTAMENTE PROFESIONAL. Al cabo de unos meses me surgió un pequeño problema y me lo solucionaron a pesar del tiempo transcurrido. EXCELENTES PROFESIONALES
Ian M. Scott –
Good tuners no issues fitting them to my HG 550.
Make string changing easy. Can’t say if makes my HG stay in tune better didn’t have any problems before.
Fernando Sanchis –
I bought these to upgrade the tuners on my ibanez acoustic. No adjustments were needed as the holes all lined up. They make changing strings a breeze.
Brad C. –
Toller Ersatz für übliche Vintage Style Mechaniken, halten wirklich super das Tuning, echte Aufwertung für eine Doublecut P90!
trevor gordon –
They’re spot on just the job!
Kelley –
They work perfectly, they look the part, and they were a direct replacement for my Harley Benton DC Junior tuners. I tried some $10 in-line tuners on another guitar, but these are well worth the $30. The quality is honestly close to most of the $100 sets.
They also come with some conversion posts if your have peg holes that are too wide in diameter. Most Indonesian builds should be just fine though.
Amazon Customer –
I bought a nice import Les Paul clone that had “Vintage” style tuners on it. They were wobbly and loose. Terrible tuners. I never was a fan of Vintage style tuners. Never saw a good set to be honest. I had to find a upgrade. I didn’t even know they made locking Vintage tuners.. Yes they do now. Probably have been but I didn’t need a set and never looked. Get these! They work as well as the name brands that cost double or triple! Best thing I can say they look Vintage but work Modern!
bbqbrisket –
Added these to a project LP Junior that was more proof of concept than anything. They work, guitar stays in tune. One of them slips a little, but after a few winds it catches. Like I said, good for the $! Would use again for something of this caliber.
Kelley –
I am in the process of modifying my Epiphone Les Paul SL/Melody Maker and the tuners that came with it were awful. I have never used locking tuners before but I wanted the classic Junior look and these were cheaper than the non locking tuners that I was considering so I decided to give them a try. Wow! I did fill in the old screw holes and repaint the back of the headstock before mounting these and drilling new holes but very easy to do. The bushings that came with them are too big for the original holes so I reused the original ones and they are a perfect fit. They are great quality and work really well. I do like the locking feature as well. The only possible downside is that they are not as small and sleek looking as vintage non locking tuners but they are very convenient and the mechanisms are excellent. Also I was afraid they might cause the neck to dive as they are “Solid” and look beefy but I haven’t noticed any change in balance. Very good product and really a good value.
Sandusky (Yeah…really haha) –
These were a perfect fit.
I was a little surprised that the quality was a shade less than the oem tuners on my cheap Danelectro.
Mechanism hold strings tight and a no brainer to install. Did not need the ferrels included in the oackage.
BUTCH M. –
Good-the tuners fit well and the locking mechanism is good. Bad-up to 1/2 turn on the tuning head before the string tightens or loosens. Virtually impossible to tune with precision. The cheap non locking tuners that came with the cheap guitar are superior. I reinstalled those and threw these in the trash.
Shocknawful –
I HAVE USED VERY EXPENSIVE LOCKING TUNERS IN THE PAST, AND I THOUGHT THAT THESE WERE EVERY BIT AS GOOD AS ALL THE ‘BIG’ BRANDS. THE PRICE OF THESE IS AN AMAZING VALUE!
