If you, like me, have trouble toasting your extra large bread slices, then you’ll love this toaster. It only has one slot, but it is long enough to toast extra large bread, two standard size slices, and bagels. Its slim design makes it ideal for small spaces, and it came in a two tone color (black and steel). The crumb tray at the bottom is easy to remove, clean, and replace. The heat is distributed evenly on the bread slice. Overall, I’m quite pleased with this toaster.

It looks nice on the countertop. It works well for toasting naan bread and artisan bread slices. The cancel button to stop toasting works well.
Another point important to me is that this toaster only draws 900 watts of power which means it uses less electricity and this makes a difference. It costs less to use it.

My old toaster finally stopped working, and I was tired of ending up with burned bread. Fortunately, I found a great toaster from Hamilton Beach, one of my favorite companies. Even though it’s longer, it doesn’t take up as much space on my counter. I especially love the bagel setting – it works perfectly, browning the bagels without burning them. I absolutely love it!

It toasts very evenly, and it fits well in the space I have for it. However, it seems like it could have been a little shorter in its major dimension. I have some difficulty getting English muffins out of the slot. I use one hand to lift up the bread lever while using another hand to hold the toaster down. Then I can use my third hand to grab the muffin. You can use tongs if you only have two hands.

Takes up less space on kitchen counter. Toasts quicker than my last one which I keep to toast Texas Garlic Toast!

I’m very picky and read reviews on so many long slot toasters. I have limited space and needed something very narrow and I actually ordered 3 different long slot toasters … all under $40. This is the toaster that I’m keeping but it actually is the least attractive of the 3 and because of having so much black plastic … was the cheapest build, too. But … it toasted ALL of the bread from top to bottom with very even toasting coverage for the win! Also, the other 2 did a horrible job on my go-to breakfast feature of an English muffin. For regular toast, the #3 setting is perfect fir me but for my English muffins I use #6 with the bagel button “ON” for an excellent result. I do wish that it had the reheat or defrost feature like some others … but for my current needs it is a WIN!

In our old house we had a toaster of the same design. Had it for well over 20 years. I ordered this one and what a flimsy thing it is.
First it’s made from extremely week metal, which some spots are hot! Lousy toasting, you have to stand over it. Dial is on low but I have burnt to a crisp bread & bagels. It doesn’t pop up well and you have to be there to push a cancel button in order for it to pop. I’d give it a zero if I could.
Cheap, cheap, cheap!!
