So far, I’m really pleased. The model I have handles 2 lbs of chicken, beef easily. Easy to program and very intuitive

So easy to use, just turn the dial to the appropriate setting push the button and go. After the set time is completed it automatically goes into a keep warm setting. I noticed it does put out some heat on the outside on the high setting. Heavy ceramic dish inside for even heat distribution. I made pulled pork, and it came out great. Fast cleanup as well. Easy to travel with the lid clasps down very tight on each end. Comes with a thermometer as well. If had a lot of crockpots in my kitchen through the years, this is the one.

I love this crockpot! It’s easy to use! It really cooks slow, perfectly. I set the probe 155 degrees. It was slightly pink. Perfect. I chose to add cream of mushroom soup. And kept it at low, then warm. It never overcooked or boiled the liquids. Food turned out great!! I wish it had a cook book with it. I bought it because groceries are high, and I decided to buy tougher pieces of meat to slow cook and save some money.

So… I wanted to bring a little bit of that traditional taste to me and what a better way to do it than doing a slowly cooked barbacoa. I couldn’t get the exact meat for it but rather a similar cut in characteristics, same method tho: 8 hours low and slow…

Had it with my friends here, they (and me hehe) loved it! It went by the 8 hours and after that kept itself in warm mode until we gathered. By the time we started, the meat was perfectly cooked, still warm and although the flavour did change a little bit (because of the meat selection) we made it for a great time an reunion!

Features-wise, the crock can come out for cleaning and its the heavier part of it, it has multiple modes and sets and its fairly easy to clean! Loved it all the way! Now I can’t wait to make some Carnitas!

    I would recommend it

I’m trying to replace a worn out Stay n Go that I’ve used for years. I’ll comment on this as I go along with first use.

It was packed sufficiently with box and cut out foam. All parts accounted for. Crock and lid washed in soapy water. I noticed flecks of aluminum on outside of crock or was it places glaze didn’t cover? Former- no prob. Latter- may cause cracking when hot to cold or submerged at length in water (I’ve worked with pottery a good deal.) I docked a point as this may be significant. Reading directions, reasonably easy. Many languages. I noticed that while my former pot had high/low/warm, this newer pot has high/ MEDIUM/ low/ keep warm. Outstanding! It also has a probe to insert, dial in temp ability, dial in temp you want it to reach, then you dial in the level of heat to use to accomplish that. I’m cooking 2 pounds of boneless chicken thighs in barbeque sauce. I am able to tell this slow cooker I want the probe, to reach 170* temp in medium heat then keep it that temp until I’m ready to sear on the grill. I’ll add more when the thighs are ready.
The thighs were wonderful, pot roast was tender and moist. Meat loaf I cooked on one side of the crock and baked beans in the other side came out moist. I think the problem I’ve had with slow cookers is I inadvertently over cook meats leaving them dry. Something I’ve noticed: when your food is at the correct temperature, you can choose to have the crock switch to keeping it warm or you can program the pot to maintain the temperature once it is reached. I was perplexed at first why you’d choose that over keeping it warm. I realized that making yogurt required the temp to reach 110* and then hold it for severat hours. I also am making lentil and rice soup- another reason to bring up to temp and hold for an hour or two.

Several people noted that the electron “dashboard” was not lighted. Well, in some ways that’s true. But, as you begin by turning the dial, it lights up. As long as you are using the DIAL, it stays lit. After it’s programmed, it goes dark. I discovered today, if you turn the dial a very small amount, the dashboard lights up again.

We went camping for a week. I used a smaller slow cooker relegated to the camper. The entire time, I longed for this cooker for it’s ease and precision.

I made yogurt the other night. I used a gallon of whole milk with 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 tbsp of vanilla, brought it to 180* for 10 min in a separate pot, cooled it to 115*, added my culture (the brand I usually buy), poured it into the slow cooker set at 112*. I left it overnight (10 hrs) to keep a constant 112*. It was ready when I got up. I scooped it into 4 qt jars. It’s firm set like Greek yogurt and delish with honey or fruit preserves. My family keeps begging for more. I’ve created a monster!

I love this! I love the temp thermometer built in and the cook to a certain temp setting! It’s so easy! It’s a good sized croc pot, easy to use, and has so many fun settings! I haven’t done too much in this yet, as I got it for Christmas and then had a baby so I haven’t been cooking tons! But the times I have used it it’s been great! I also love the seal feature! If you do use the locks to seal it shut just be sure not to do it while the food is cooking! The heat pressurizes and can cause glass lid to explode/shatter. (I saw this online; so don’t know personally but won’t take my chances! 🤪)

OCD RELIEF!!! So I’m very careful about leaving things on / plugged in, etc. but what is the point of having a crockpot if you can’t do that? So I received this yesterday and let it run last night just to make sure it wasn’t defective. It wasn’t. But my RECIPE was so this MORNING I added to the crockpot and then I left it on low, unattended, for NINE MORE HOURS. (I had read a review that the food just does not burn in this thing… and even though I have OCD, I am an optimist lol… as you can see from the picture, I did troubleshoot having the cord be too close to the pot, and then I put other appliances in front of it not touching it mind you, but in FRONT of it to create a visual deterrence/barricade from my two dogs after which I hung a giant (empty) water gun near but not directly over over the crockpot as ANOTHER visual deterrent…) (I was imagining coming home to my kitchen and finding it looking like that scene from Kindergarten Cop.) Instead, I came home to a perfectly cooked, perfect temperature, home-cooked meal, a win on saving money, a win on eating healthier, and a win on having a little more confidence in the universe. (and yes, of course the dogs got praise and a couple bites.)
It is exactly as described. I only wish that the low temperature was an option on the program setting. Instead, if you want to cook on low, you have to use the manual setting which means it’s going to cook on low for up to 10 hours and then shut off by itself.
There’s also these clips that you can use to secure the lid when you’re traveling or transporting a dish to let’s say a potluck, but I read in one of the reviews that you shouldn’t leave those clips in place when it’s cooking because ? It could be too hot and crack? ? too much pressure ? so I took those clips off just to be safe, but the manual doesn’t say anything about the clips except to use them during transport. It stops short of advising you to not use the clips during cooking. ???? The lid says “Stay or Go” … I tested the Stay and I tested the Go – and this thing is Aces.
