I wish it was a 5qt capacity with longer handles. Will try hamburger helper next .

I wanted so bad to like this rive cooker cause it’s a perfect size to cook rice for 2 people but I had to return it. It’s not sturdy and the lid comes apart every time I open it. It leaks too much when I’m cooking rice so I end up with water all over my microwave whenever I use this. I’m constantly cleaning my microwave.

When you think it is wrong, trust your gut. I followed the instructions and thought this is not right. 1/2 cup of water with 1 1/2 cups of rice. But I thought well they know what they are talking about. Wrong – a picture with worth a thousand words. And I had a few choice words to say when I pulled it out of my microwave.

I actually enjoyed using this microwave cooker. It is very convenient. I like how it cooks the rice, but it does seem to overflow and more cleaning to do, so maybe not so convenient in that section, but it gets the job done when I don’t want to use the rice cooker. Great alternative for when you want to bring rice to the park.

The first time I used it the two parts of the lid separated. It’s thin and flimsy, and heats food unevenly. I rarely write negative reviews but this cooker is so bad I felt compelled to speak out about it. It’s a total waste of money.

You could use it in the microwave and you could do whatever you like in. It doesn’t burn doesn’t get that smell. It’s awesome to use when you come late from work.
