Ordered this breastfeeding nursing tank for my wife who is 8 months pregnant. She was worn it a couple of times now to test out how it feels While she loves that the top is made of very high quality material – primarily cotton – which makes it very soft. She was initially very skeptical about the very steep price tag, but feels it is somewhat justified after feeling the quality of the fabric. It is stretchy, easily washable and you can also put it in the dryer without worrying that it shrinks. However, the built-in bra is very small and does not cover the nips well enough. Based on that, my wife feels uncomfortable wearing it outside the house but says that it is perfect to wear at home for breastfeeding. You can open and close the clips on the side very easily which makes it simple to nurse a baby.
All in all, a very high quality product that makes nursing a baby a lot simpler and quicker, but which also comes with at a high price tag and a significant draw back.

My current bust sizing: Underbust: 35.5”, Overbust: 39.5”, Fullest Bust: 41”. I’m currently most comfortable in a 38D (large overbust). I usually wear a L in maternity/ breastfeeding bras/tanks so I went with my usual size. I prefer a M or size 2 in HATCH’s leggings and Ts, but have tried two HATCH maternity/ nursing bras in L that fit well. I think a M would have fit much better (and is the recommended size according to HATCH’s sizing chart). There is gapping at the sides, the front looks lumpy from the nursing access attachment. The material feels nice and the return policy is great so I might still give it a try (in multiple sizes) to see if it will work for you/ your body type.

I like everything about this top EXCEPT the elastic under the breast. It was far too tight. I am a 42DDD and by all things considered, should have fit this top perfectly. And I did. Except the elastic band. The band was far too tight. It bit into my skin and was uncomfortable. I will not wear this.
This is especially problematic when breastfeeding because too tight under bust clothing causes blocked ducts and eventually mastitis. No thank you.
Size up I guess.

So far I have loved everything I’ve tried from HATCH – besides this top. Initially I was skeptical of the price tag for a simple nursing tank. Upon receiving it, I saw that it was made with really high quality materials so it partially justified the price. There’s actually a built in bra inside (just a double layer of the same fabric with a bit of scrunch in the center) that also folds down when you unlatch to nurse. Even with the double layer, your nips will show unless you use nursing pads. I do like the detail of the strap adjustment being right in front – makes it quicker and easier to adjust the straps. There’s also a cute abalone shell heart on the back.
That being said … the fit on this shirt is SO weird. Unless you have a body shaped like the model in the photo, this will likely fit you just as strange as it fit me.
The top bra part is very large, leaving extra fabric sitting awkwardly on the sides of the breasts and the lower portion of the tank being very tight. I could have sized up so the lower portion would have been less tight but I still think it would be very form fitting (showing every little curve and lines from high wasted leggings etc) and if I had sized up, the breast region would have been even bigger and more awkward.
I have your typical post partum belly/curves and small/moderate chest size. So this did not work for me. If you have a tummy you are comfortable showing off and a medium-large chest, this may work better for you – it’s very high quality.
For the price and fit – I will be sticking with my 3 for $35 nursing tanks that have a slight babydoll shape which are much more flattering for the PP tummy.

Okay so fist of all. Very good quality! I love love love the little detail on the back where there is a small abalone heart bead sewn in. I love that you can attach the straps in the back to create and X shape. I wish for an XL the breast part was bigger. I’m pretty chesty and wear 38 DDD. I think it could be just a smidgen longer, maybe like another inch or so but this is my personal preference. I give 4 stars because I wish the breast part had a bit more coverage for bigger breasts. Overall I’m love this nursing tank and will be getting good use out of it.
