I love this dress. It is a timeless style and the material is lovely – soft and stretchy. I bought a Size 1 but could’ve probably gone for a Size 0, since I’m not currently pregnant. That said, I still find it very flattering and like the slightly loose fit. The sleeves hit at the perfect spot in my mid-upper arms which I think makes them look slimmer. Hope it wears and washes well over time as I’d love to keep it for both non-pregnant and pregnant wear!

I have a pair of leggings and a t-shirt from HATCH and I liked them so much that I decided to give this dress a try too. Again, I’m impressed! This dress is the same great quality that I have now come to expect from the brand.
This dress has a lovely substantial feel that really denotes quality. It’s made of 72% Viscose and 28% Polyester. It’s a soft knit that has excellent stretch and recovery. The simple t-shirt silhouette is very classic and the Black color makes this a great neutral basic that can be dressed up or down.
For reference, I am 5’5″ tall 110 lbs 30D with a straight body shape and long limbs with a short torso. I typically wear a size 0 or XS in clothing both before and after pregnancy. I glanced at the handy HATCH size chart and my measurements fell within the size 0 (this is the same size that I’ve ordered for my other HATCH items). This dress is form fitting but the longer length and classic t-shirt details make this classy and so flattering. I love everything about it!
I ordered this dress postpartum and wish I had had it for pregnancy too! I highly recommend it.

This is an awesome dress, both amazingly comfortable and versatile. I was skeptical as to the claim that this dress is “for, during, AND after” pregnancy, since I have worn other clothing that is supposedly for “all trimesters”, but then I had people asking me when I was due while I was not pregnant. This dress actually does NOT look like a maternity dress; it has no ruching, gathers, or extra material in the tummy area. It is a simple body-con black dress, made from a knit fabric that has a lot of stretch. The quality is excellent, as I would expect at this price-point, though of course some of that price is also in the brand name. While this is a comfortable dress, it hugs every curve. For size reference, I am 5 foot 7, weigh 165 pounds, have a 36C bust with narrow shoulders and a short torso, carry most of my weight in the middle, and wear a US women’s size 10 (medium sizes at Old Navy and H&M). I have five children, and I am five years “postpartum” with my youngest 😉 I ordered this dress in the size 3 based on the size chart, which is a perfect, if not super flattering, fit (see my pics).
Overall, this is a lovely quality, comfortable, versatile knit dress that does not look like a maternity dress. It is definitely a staple wardrobe piece for anyone who doesn’t mind showing off their curves.

There are really no words to express how much I love this dress. It is literally everything I wanted in a T shirt sweater dress. It is not a typical inexpensive sweater dress, this is one people will notice by the quality that it is expensive, not something you pick up at target. The dress has plenty of stretch, I am not currently pregnant, and love this as it does not looks like maternity wear. However, it stretches so much, it can take you through pregnancy no problem.
Pros: 1. High quality soft stretchy sweaterdress fabric 2. Nice longer length, dress down or up with shoes or jackets 3. SOOO stretchy
Cons: 1. Price- Because of the price, I would expect this to last YEARS… and I believe it will, but still its a hard pill to swallow. 2. Sizing – why do they have to add more complexity to womens sizing. Their chart for me was true to sizee, but no I have to remember yet another sizeing. 3. Hand wash…. I personally do not have the time, so that task will fall to the husband.
Overall, This is one of the best dresses I own, maternity or not. I love this thing and I am so happy to have gotten it. I cant wait to wear it to work with heals and a nice blazor but also on Saturday with white sneakers and a jean jacket to the farmers market, and date nights with a cute pair of heels. This dress is so versatile, and with high quality knit fabric, you will not be disapointed.
