Dog ate them but they are not that soft. She likes them just ok
Mountainbloke –
Little Enna no longer has teeth. I hoped these treats would be soft enough for her if I broke them into small pieces. I found they are not easy to break into pieces. Though I might not appreciate the odor, she does enjoy them. For us, this treat is just not soft enough.

Happy dogs love these mine have allergies and these treats were perfect
Angela hayford –
I liked that they fit her small mouth and she can easily eat them. Smaller dogs will be to enjoy them.

Dogs say they’re yummy,,,but they lie allot

Like the title says, this type of treat has quickly become a high-value reward. The scent isn’t overwhelming like some other brands are and can be broken into pieces for longevity. The bag itself doesn’t come with that many is the only downside. I would be interested in a bulk offering (bigger bag, more treats) since Hill’s is my pup’s go-to.

Tigger loved them
Grandma Janet –
All my dogs love this. They are all older dogs with less teeth. And they can still chew them.
D. Ottinger –
I usually give my two pups carrots and broccoli as treats, but everyday they get one of these treats just to have something special and they love them.
Nathan Dawley –
My dog absolutely loves these treats. A good price given the high quality of the product.

My two 7# Yorkies like these. I found out about them at my vet. Other people have complained that they aren’t soft. I cannot easily break them in half by hand (arthritis and carpal tunnel) , but if I put a small knife groove across the top, they break easily. I cut them into quarters and each gets 1/4 of a snack at a time. Rule of thumb from my vet: If you can’t push your thumbnail into it, then it’s too hard for a little dog.

Covid took all the brick and mortar stores away! Than goodness you can purchase these on line. My elderly dogs have brittle teeth. So these soft chews work and they love them.

These “treats” can cause serious injuries to your dog! We have a small dog so after her Inititial refusal to eat them. They were too hard/large for her so I started to break a couple apart to see if that changed her mind. That’s when I began to find these extraordinarily SHARP edged pieces (see pics) of (as yet undetermined) matter in the first two I broke up. I don’t know exactly what they are but I am convinced BEYOND A DOUBT that they can/will injure your dog. INJURIES may range from sliced and bleeding gums to infection and potentially a PERFORATED STOMACH AND/OR COLON which can lead to SERIOUS INJURIES AND DEATH. Not to mention the incredible vet bills for any of the above! I am SO PISSED that I forced myself to wait 24 hours to write this review. No matter what they are they are clearly NOT SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE BAG! I just re-read the front of the bag right next to the U.S. Flag where it states “Made in USA with GLOBAL INGREDIENTS YOU CAN TRUST” Really?? What do YOU suppose those globally sourced ingredients are and where do you suppose they came from? I fully intend on pursuing this with HILL Corporate. If I can identify what this crap is I’ll be back to add on to this post. Any reply from Hill will also be posted here verbatim.
I sure hope that these pics of these things come through along side the adjacent tape measure so that potential buyers get a clear sense of what I’m talking about. FYI – there’s a telltale sign indicating the presence of these things. Look for a small area of bright white anywhere one the outside of a treat. If you see this crumble it if you can and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about. Hill didn’t just lose my business, they lost my trust! Never again.
Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean that someone isn’t out to get you…
