This HD did not want to format, 7 try’s before it did and now it is very loud and shakes my desk when running. The vender would not ship another one with out my CC # so I will return it. Do not buy from this place unless you have time to waste.

The first drive I received was noisy. I mean not the typical clicking but more a drawer with rollers closing sound. Weird. Everything checked out fine on Hard Disk Sentinel except temp was in the yellow. I figured I’d try a second replacement drive and it is nearly dead quiet and 5 degrees C cooler. Supposed to run 2 million hours so I’ll get back to this review later.
