The music stand is well built, but surprisingly light! It also has thoughtful details such as the screw behind the music stand which locks it in place and spring-loaded sheet holders which keep your music in place! Great find!

Pretty typical of light duty music stand sold on Amazon, but works just fine, and is easy to put away when not used. The spring page holders are also very handy with music books.
Also, when done as a stand, can be creative and use the base/pole for other things. The high quality stands used in concert venues and schools can only pretty much be used as music stands.

This music stand is ok, but not great. I’m fairly tall and I play violin so I need a tall stand. This one is fairly tall, but rather flimsy. The desk is very thin and the tubes seem weak with too many segments to be very stable. The only reason to get this is if you need something tall, lightweight, and portable. For home or studio you’ll want something better.

This stand is easy to set up, easy to fold up into the included carrying bag. The tall version is great for tall musicians like me. It’s light enough to carry easily, but it’s stabile when extended to full height.
When collapsing the stand, be careful to keep track of the knobbed screw that secures the top to the stand.

Perfect for home, or on the go practice. It’s fairly easy to put together and take apart. It’s nice that you can adjust height as needed. I like that it comes with a bag for storage. I think it’s a good price for the money.

If you’re a casual musician or a student this stand is probably fine. For context, I’m a full-time musician in his late 30’s who has played professional for almost 20 years. To me, this stand a joke and I regret ordering it. For one thing, the carrying bag it comes with is one step above a plastic shopping bag. That said, by far my biggest issue is with the low quality of the pipping itself; do not crank down on the adjustment screws, they will warp, or even go through, the soft pipping. Also, I don’t know who designed this thing, it expands to a comically, unnecessarily, tall height; you would never need something so tall. I’m 6’4″ and I’d have to be standing up, playing on stilts to require a stand so tall. My only reason for hanging on to it, rather than donating it or throwing it in the nearest dumpster, is the fact that it breaks down and can be more easily carried around than a conventional music stand.
The wrong item was sent twice and is not what I ordered. Cancel my order. –
