Hongmai Cordless 21V Leaf Blower With Battery

We have an existing blower BUT it needs a heavy duty extension cord as it must be plugged into an AC source to work. Not very practical or convenient even if using it within the range of the ~15’ attached cord. Been wanting a cordless unit for some time now and found this on the site. Arrived quickly in a somewhat smaller than expected box. No worries, everything was included and arrived in perfect condition. Quick and easy to assemble and topped off the battery before first use.
Recently had our driveway pavers power washed and remanded to fill in the joints. We were left with excess sand everywhere despite removing much of it with a broom. Used this blower and it did a great job blowing the excess sand off the driveway. Then we did the same out back as the lanai paver joints were similarly renewed. Total use time at the two higher speed (blowing velocities) was about 1 1/2 hours and it was still going strong at the end.
Don’t have leaves on our property here in SW Florida but it will come in handy for when our HOA contracted lawn service cuts the grass, mulches and trims the bushes. And I plan on using it to blow dry our cars after washing without having to use an extension cord on the wet driveway. Awesome.
Although mostly plastic construction, it appears to be sturdy and well built. The plastic tube pieces fit together well and were secure even at the highest speed setting. Overall the blower was not so heavy as to create arm fatigue with extended use. Given the multiple potential uses, light weight yet powerful blowing velocities and lengthy run times due to the rechargeable battery, this is a terrific value at the current price. Hope to use it for many years to come. Highly recommended!

This unit is powerful for its size and weight. Sweeping porches, sidewalks, driveways and small yards it’s excellent. If you have a large yard and have many leaves to blow especially in the fall, a more powerful blower would be needed. But it’s my go to blower for around the house with lots of battery life. A great value for the price!

We just finished our yard landscaping project. We have new plants and a lot of new mulch, and now leaves started coming down. We tried to use our regular electric blower but it’s too powerful. It blows mulch around along with leaves, and I’m afraid it’s hurting plants. Not to mention that our blower is corded, which means there’s a lot of switching the cord from one power outlet to another and dragging the heavy cord around.

We were looking for something “less industrial” and cordless. This blower fits the bill. The blower fits in a small box and assembles in a minute. The battery came partly charged, so I could test it right away. Honestly, judging by the size and weight of the blower, I was pretty skeptical at first. I was wrong. Even on the lowest setting, this blower gives enough power to blow the leaves off while keeping mulch in place (we did use mulch glue, though, which may have helped), and it doesn’t hurt new plants. Blowing leaves and mulch from the walkways and an alley on higher settings is a blast. Battery power is enough
for the blower to last without recharging, but if you need to recharge the battery, it charges quickly.

Very lightweight and powerful, this blower fits a variety of tasks we need. I hope the quality of this product will allow it to last. I have no hesitation in giving it a 5 stars.

I picked up this Hongmai 21V Electric Cordless Leaf Blower for some quick jobs like blowing off my doorstep, garage or fast cleanup after trimming a hedge that’s far away from an outlet. Usually, I use a gas powered or corded electric blower. I have been getting tired of cleaning carburetors and also pulling out and winding back up two 50′ extension cords to reach some spots that are further away from the building, so I thought I’d give this a try.

I like it! It’s super light and very compact for easy storage. There’s no prep time required for messing around with power cords and there’s no gas to leak onto the floor or carburetors to clean. It has a reasonable blowing power. It’s not as strong as my gas or corded blowers. Most of the time I just use it on power level 5 (out of 6) for a quick controlled cleanup job out my front door or around landscaping, so I could actually still go up notch in power. It works well if what I’m blowing is dry, but I wouldn’t use it for jobs with wet leaves or if I had to blow/roll-up a mass of sticks and leaves under a tree in a parking lot after a wind storm. It’s also be good for family members who don’t have the arm strength to hold/run a gas blower for long. Other than a little less power than I’m used to with my gas and power blowers the only other con is that the lights that show remaining battery power don’t work on my particular battery. I have to use the green light on the charger to know that the battery is charging, and I don’t really know when it is done.

All in all, I’m loving this for quick, small, controlled jobs where I just grab it, pull the trigger, get the job done and put it away in storage again.
