Overall building this cabinet is was straightforward and easy, but it was time consuming. I built it myself in around 2 1/2 hours. This unit is sturdy, built well and surprisingly heavy. Good buy for the price.

I just bought a brand new dining room table so I wanted a cabinet that matched. I saw this one on Amazon and took the plunge. It arrived quickly. The directions were easy to read and follow. The only thing I am not happy with are the drawers and that they do not sit level which catches the eye.

I ordered this because it went perfect with my new table. When I opened it I carefully laid out all the pieces which were ALL perfectly labeled. I misread the instructions and thought I was missing a piece (the middle piece) and one piece had a small blemish. I contacted the seller and was quickly sent a new replacement piece. My very last step was the magnetic door catch piece which I accidentally threw out. Contacted the seller again and was quickly sent a replacement set. The end result was a beautiful piece that went perfectly with my new table. I am very happy with this piece and would definitely recommend.
Putting it together was pretty easy since very piece was clearly labeled. I put it together myself.

Surprisingly solid piece of furniture! There were a good amount of pieces and parts to work with but the instructions were clear and I only had to do some slight backtracking. Built it all by myself, while distracted, in about 3-4 hours.
End result is really great. solid and sturdy. Does not have any wobble or give and I would feel comfortable standing on it. The finish is wood look-a-like vinyl over plywood/particle board but it’s THICK and tough and for the price, it’s hard to beat.
The hardware is pretty good too. The knobs and handles have a nice solid weight to them.
Considerations:
– Mine came with a pretty noticeable scuff on the legs, but it was a back leg so I didn’t bother with it.
– Cabinet doors need to be leveled. You wont be able to just screw them in and have it look right. Take the extra time to line them up perfectly before securing them and they will look fantastic.
– I wish the drawers came out just slightly more. But other than that they are great.
I’ve built more furniture from Amazon and Ikea than I can even remember and this piece finds itself on the higher end of build-your-own furniture that I have come across. Would recommend.

I needed a specific size and have an air vent in the lower wall so we needed an open shelf bottom. The price was great. I didn’t mind the shipping since Microsoft found me a $20. coupon. Not Prime item but actually a great piece. Every item piece & part is well marked . The instruction book is well detailed. When it arrived we did not open it until the day we assembled. At that time I looked over every piece. Nothing was damaged, nothing was omitted and it was very well packed in multiple layers of dense Styrofoam. Lay all parts lettered in unison and with patience and NO over tightening , with dowl pins & screws the sideboard was assembled. It is higher than most, less expensive, has a great synthetic wood finish with actual wood pieces. Well worth the patience to assemble. It’s very sturdy. the hinges on the doors are very easy to align, the drawers fit & glide well. I Think for the cost this Hostack farmhouse style sideboard is just perfect.

The shipment I received had some drawer parts that were incorrectly drilled/cut. Holes did not line up properly which made assembly difficult. One piece was damaged and another cracked during assembly.

The product I received had a bad board, with pre drilled holes and groove slightly off so the side and back wouldn’t go together. I contacted the seller and within 4 hours they responded. They were very nice and when they couldn’t send a new side/back board, they offered to send an entirely new product free of charge. The second one had some scuffed up boards, and one board was missing a hole. But I combined the parts between the two to make a beautiful cabinet. Seems like there might be some quality control issues with this item, but I’m giving it 5 stars because the customer service was fantastic! Fast, kind, and they genuinely care about the customer. They even followed up a few days later to make sure I was satisfied. If something is wrong, rest assured they will make it right.
The assembly took 3-4 hours by myself. Instructions are very easy to follow (five stars for instructions). The color is accurate. Handles, knobs, and hinges are good quality, feel durable, and hinges are easy to adjust to get the cabinet doors centered.

It was excactly as described. All parts arrived undamaged due to adequate packaging. Outside of box was heavily damaged so I was suprised. Only note of precaution is not to overtighten anything. 90 degree twist for connectors. I am very pleased with the appearance and functionality of this piece. Measurements were accurate so this very close fit worked well for me. I would buy again.
