Snack cups could be bigger so I can put water and my grey can easily get to the snacks

Stated sized of portable perchโ-no way! Perch pic in ad shows two macaws on it. LMAO! Cups are sized for perhaps a parakeet. (Normal sized bic lighter used for comparison.)perch is too thin for most med sized parrots. The adโs photo showing 2 macaws on itโnot a chance in you know where. Keeping it however as I can make a different perch to screw onto the stand. Bought this for an African Gray.

She sleeps on it every day.

No instructions came with this perch/stand. It is easy to set up and mostly common sense, but common sense also would be to include instructions.
That being said, my African Grey took to it well. The wood like perch seemed natural for her to stand on. Some perches she doesn’t like at all and won’t go on them.
I do wish the base were heavier or weighted. It feels as if it could fall over kind of easy. I do also wish it had some sort of mat or something that you could catch bird droppings with.
Overall, I like it because I can take my bird with me to different rooms. She has been with human’s since hatch and doesn’t fly, so it’s nice to give her a perch in different rooms, when I don’t want her wandering around, biting into things and leaving little land mines everywhere.

Pictured as 2 macaw sized birds. It is MUCH MUCH smaller than pictured. Food cups are very tiny.

This bird perch is for my little conure, and she is not usually scared of new things. The first thing that struck me was the lack of instructions and the seemingly extra parts. I figured out that the top screw of the perch has a removable black cap. Then after propellering the knobbly stick on the top, I put a tiny bolt through each of the cups and attached the cups to the holes in the handles of the giant clip. Then I could put the clip/cups wherever I liked- on top of the perch, or down the side of the stand. On the stand, the cups were too low for my bird to reach. So I put them on the stick. The knobs where branches were cut off helps give my bird something to grab onto. The stand itself has many, many sections that you can use to adjust the height by unlocking a section at a time. It seems like that was not really needed, but I guess the company just wanted to make a compact item to make shipping easier. The bottom of the stand doesn’t really seem to be secured by just one screw, but I’ll give it a try. At least if the whole thing starts to fall over, my bird can just fly away to safety. I have to laugh a bit at the picture online of the birds perched outside with no harness. They are definitely going to get lost. I think this whole stand could’ve been a lot simpler without the bells (literally) and whistles. I don’t know what to do with the bells included, except hang them in my bird’s cage to play with.

This adjustable perch is a the right size for working with medium or small size birds one-on-one. I have 3 Amazon parrots (medium sized birds) that this perch works well for. The adjustable height will go rather tall but it is too wobbly when set to the maximum. I set mine at a height just above the cage door so the birds can “step up” onto it. To improve stability, the legs can be lowered to a more flattened stance and that makes a big difference.
The wood perch itself is nice and thick, over 1″ in diameter, which is needed for the size of these birds. I wouldn’t leave my bird on here as a daily perch but for training and actively being with the bird, this perch is a very helpful tool.
I like that it folds up easily for storage. The wood perch has a screw embedded into the center that you attach to the stand. When I tried to remove the perch to store it, the wood perch came off of the tightened screw. Instead of trying to remove the screw from the base, I put the perch back onto it and tightened it back down. Now I store it with the perch attached instead of taking the risk of stripping it out.
If the stand were a little thicker it would be more sturdy and if that screw issue didn’t happen, I’d give it a better rating. It still works great under supervision and it is a helpful training perch.

I found the adjustable bird perch, stand to be nice option for those looking for a stand that you can easily assembled, disassembled, stored and moved around. The stand is very lightweight and suitable for small to medium sized bird. For context, I own a Black Headed Caique. The stand consists of several adjustment nobs which when loosened provide the telescoping nature of the stand that allows you to raise and lower as needed. As others have already mentioned there are no discernible directions that accompany the perch.. However, installation is not what I call complex. The perch itself is made out of black pepper wood of good size and length that seems will hold up pretty well. For those bird that like to chew like my own the perch has already presented a bit of a challenge. The feeding cups that clamp on to the perch are pretty worthless in my opinion. To tighten appropriately you need very small fingers etc. Also, the size of the feeders are thimble like and don’t hold much at all. There are other protable clamp on options that can be used if needed. As previously mentioned, the perch is good sized, screws directly on to the stand via a threaded screw found under the black plastic end cap that must be removed after unpacking. My bird has already started to chew the perch, (seriously, I feel my Caique is a wood pecker) resulting in me having to come up with a bit of a work around To solve, I took one of my pliable soft perches and zip tied to the top pf the wooden perches which did the trick. Overall, this is a decent option for those looking for a portable perch. Build quality is about what you would expect for such. In tens of sturdiness, you may’ve to fuss with the legs a bit to minimize rocking. It does take a little bit of adjusting here and there. Would I buy again? The jury is still out. I have not had the perch long enough to determine durability. I seems like to will hold up, however time will tell. I rated it 4-Stars, mostly because it does what it was intended to do, provided a low cost, portable, lightweight perch for small to media sized birds. The lack of directions, tiny clamp on food bowls and utterly wasted bird toy were not a concern.
