It is big enough to serve as the primary disk for Windows 10/11. It speeds up the response time of the computer and has worked well for a two months. Anyone that has a slow computer should checkout the M2 technology.

Fit into the M2 slot and let me re-install WIN10. Seems like every 2 or 3 yrs the SSD goes bad in my desktop. Hope this brand will last at least 5yrs

Not my first one of these, they plug in easily, and this one actually included a screw.
I would caution if you are cloning a drive that is larger than this one though: After trying multiple clone software, none of them would do it (at least the free versions) except Macrium Reflect. I signed up for the trial version and it worked, the only thing to watch out for is adjusting the partitions (which the software does with a couple clicks).
My HP laptop from 2022 was bogging down like crazy, even after doubling the memory, so since it came with a mechanical HDD I figured it’s gotta go.
it now boots in about 30 seconds (slow for an SSD I know , but better than 2 minutes or more that it was doing)
I debated the 512 GB size, but since it’s primarily just for the OS it should be fine. And I re-installed the old HDD for storage, next purchase will be another SSD for that. PRO TIP: when ordering a custom laptop from HP, spring for the SSD, you’ll thank me later.

This is great value for a nvme SSD. Though. DRAM-Less, the performance of the drive is great and this 500GB is rated for 200TBW, which should last more than what I’m using it for.

Worked like a charm, on my router…

Ive got the macbook air and it had a 512gb ssd. The computer would often heat up and then if I was multitasking would get super slow as the ssd was pretty much filling up. I did some reading and bought this NVMe 2TB ssd along with an adapter as it will not directly plug into the macbook air. I also bought some copper heat sinks just in case. I installed both and man what a difference. I never hear the fan fire up high like before and my computer isn’t slow like it used to be when I was multitasking. Make sure you read up on transferring data by using an external drive before you install the new drive!

Doesnโt run too hot, good speeds

I needed more space on my little Dell Latitude 5400 notebook, so I tried this 2tb nvme drive. Popped the bottom off the notebook and took out the original 500gb drive. Pulled the old copper heat spreader off the old drive and placed it on the new one. I have not pulled the sticker off the new drive yet. I’m going to wait a month for the return window to close and make sure it won’t die during that time.
My needs are primarily for space. The use I put on it won’t over heat the drive, so I can wait to directly stick the dell heat spreader to the chips on the new drive.
All in all, Win 11 went right on, and the speed is a tad faster than the old drive. I did do a new drive setup process with a format, instead of just letting Windows do it’s own thing. Normally Windows formats sectors as it goes, and that slows things down, so always try to format before Windows install.
This little 2tb drive is snappy and has shown no problems. For its price, it’s just good value. I highly recommend it.

Normally I would not use a drive like this for the NVMe slot, but this needed to go into a 2017 HP Pavillion, and current m2 SSDs would not fit.
This was the same brand, for use in that model, so works great.
PLEASE please PLEASE, check your computer model to make sure this is what you need.
You can find out by typing in your computer model number (barring the insides having been traded out by someone) or board model, and seeing what the storage is.
