There are a lot of pieces and no instructions for assembly came with the pieces. I did finally find the pdf instructions on this site. It is difficult to get the metal tray in position once the support poles are attached to the wood base. The flexible colored ladder ends do not fit in the drilled holes on the posts where they’re supposed to fit. I had to sand down the ends to get them to go in those holes at all and then it was still difficult because the holes are not angled correctly. I don’t know how else to describe it. The food bowls are too narrow for my quaker parrot head so he cannot get food out of the bottom of the bowl. I will not be using the food bowls, as I am afraid that my quaker parrots head might get stuck in one of those bowls. The colored flat ladder hung unevenly as one of the chains had an extra link.

A Jenday Conure may be a bit bigger parrot than this is designed for, and we actually bought it for a parakeet, but it is great. Now, he has shredded the little balls on top and the wooden ladder, and quite a few beads are missing from the beaded ladder, but that’s what parrots do. A parakeet would get more mileage out of it, but with parakeets it’s not quite so urgent to keep them busy on their own toys–a bit of a sacrifice continuing to buy the Conure more toys is worth it so that he doesn’t chew up the people stuff. The frame of it doesn’t get chewed enough to matter and we can add back other toys as needed. We are very happy with this ‘play station,’ the price and design both seem better than most of the ones I saw. My 12-year-old had no problem putting it together by herself. We did have to put a ceramic water bowl on the metal tray because the parrot was going to pull the tray out and chew up the frame there, but with the water bowl he can’t lift it. Amazingly, he can stick his head down in the little treat cups and get kibble out just fine. If those cups were a little shallower, this play set would be even better.

I have 7 birds and the only time they are in the cage is too sleep. They completely love this and are always being playful climing up and down. They do poop over the wooden pieces so i wait for the poop to dry off so i can scrape it off with a knife. the best way to keep it clean for them.

Follow the PDF. I found it way too late! Once I found that it was a breeze. I had no issues putting this together and I am screwdriver challenged.
My birds love it. I have two issues with it. Both are not the fault of the product really but it has to do with the birds I have.
This is perfect size of a tiel or consure.
I have one tiel and two budgies and the perches are a big large for a budgie. They can grip it but I know it’s a bit too large for them.
I’m considering cutting half of it off and attaching smaller dowel rods on one side. Giving the budgues a choice.
I also don’t know if I can keep the rings on. I have a very small male who gets caught in toys a lot. Those rings leave a gap that makes me anxious.
I did end up wrapping the dowels in vet tape too.
Again I can’t blame the product. Just a heads up for those of you who have budgies!
It def does look easy to modify! If I end up doing it I will report back.

Very happy with this product. It’s very solid and sturdy. Love that it came with not only instr but its own screwdriver.

Product not super easy to put together and the directions weren’t very helpful, but it wasn’t impossible. It seems like decent quality but I’ll definitely be switching out the toys. One of the bells looks gross and the plating is already flaking off which I doubt is very safe for birds. Once I replace the toys I think it will work great. I enjoy the removable plate on the bottom.
