On my scale these weighed 41 grams each, thus far from lightest bottle cages. In fact compared to alloy cages these are only about 6-8 grams lighter. They do look stealthy though. However compared to alloy cages, you cannot widen their mouth or adjust the girth in anyway. I found that my Camelbak bottle fits in it too tight. While some other non branded bottle went in easily.
In short, if you are looking at super light cages, these are not for you.
TZ –
Allen wrench, two washers, and two screws are included. My bike already has screws so the included ones went unused. The screws on my bike had a 5mm head and they cleared just barely, so if your screws have a longer head I recommend you use the included hardware.
I expect the water bottle holder to last a long time since the ABS has carbon fiber in it. Compared to other composite plastics I have, the water bottle cage certainly feels like it has fibers in it. It holds onto my water bottle just fine and it doesn’t come loose while I’m riding, I’m pleased especially because my cage is mounted upside-down.
I would recommend this water bottle cage, I am not a huge fan of metal ones as they tend to deform and this plastic one seems like it will hold up great.

I installed these cages on a tandem we use at a short-term rental house. That means it’ll see some abuse so I’ll have to report back on any reliability issues. But these install just fine, with standard screw spacing. They’ll work with existing screws from your bike, but they also supply their own screws, washers, and a hex wrench if you need them (remember to grease those threads!). The cages are solid carbon fibre, they’re lightweight, and they fit standard specialized-style water bottles. You can probably hold a calistoga bottle in there but it’ll rattle around.
TZ –
For roadies concerned about keeping net bike weight to a minimum, these carbon-fiber/plastic water-bottle cages weigh 40 grams (1.4 ounces) each, according to my kitchen scales. By comparison, the lightweight aluminum cages they replaced weighed 46 grams each.
But to me, the most significant difference is that these carbon-fiber cages are tougher than those old aluminum counterparts. These cages hold bottles far more securely; they flex enough to let bottles in and out easily, but return to their original shape, while the aluminum cages bend permanently if stretched too far.
I travel/commute daily on a cargo bicycle that has six locations for bottle cages, and in summer, I need every drop in all six. Two of those mounting positions are on the extreme rear of the bike, a location that receives the worst jolts transmitted by the bike’s hardtail design. I’ve lost more than a few bottles entrusted to those old aluminum cages, but these hold standard water bottles absolutely securely.
But their best aspect is that they are surprisingly affordable for cages this lightweight and tough.

This is a well thought product. I like its design and simplicity without compromising in functionality and sturdiness. It came well packaged, with all accessories needed. It is lightweight, flexible enough to allow for easy removal or placement of the bottle, but also made of strong and durable material. It is a good product, great value for the money. I would recommend it to anyone!

Purchased to replace a water bottle holder that would not retain standard plastic water bottles, and it was easy to install and so far has worked much better at retaining the bottle when hitting bumps or aggressive riding.

I ordered two different bottle holders at the same time which made me like this one even more. The other was aluminum (which should have meant “sturdier”) but it bent out of shape at first use whereas this one continues to hold the bottle tight. The other also had “keyhole” shaped mounting holes which made it easier to install but also easier to pop off when the screws got a little loose. (This has round holes so if the screw get loose, it may wobble a bit till you tighten it, but won’t fall off.). It may not be real carbon fiber (but it also doesn’t cost like carbon fiber), but it looks really good. Time in use and in the sun may change my opinion (the Texas sun has a habit of making everything deteriorate), but for now, this is a winner.
