These work great. I have many citrus, avacado, fig, and blueberry bushes in them.
There is flash over the drainholes…extra plastic…but that’s no big deal.
Just need to use a blade to cut it away.

The depth, width, and overall volume to hold soil makes these a perfect size for deck tomato plants, or whatever else you choose to grow in them. The drainage holes aren’t too large, as some people have complained about. The quality of material is quite good, and I imagine it will last for several seasons. The price point is pretty good as well, compared to what you could get at your local garden center.

It might seem crazy to buy something that is unseemly compared to a glazed ceramic or even a plastic faux ceramic but after seeing these large wide shorter containers at Annie’s Annuals with plants in full bloom I had to find them online. They are very convenient and you can fill half if you don’t need a lot of root room but they will hold a lot of soil. Mine are filled about 2/3 with soil and some dahlia bulbs, geraniums and a bush I wasn’t ready to find a place for but I wanted to let it grow up from its 4” pot from the nursery. I used these as a way to allow a plant to grow more before committing to a spot. Also for the deck where I can contain veggies in need to trellis etc. you can easily place a tomato cage in these too. Very good product, pricey but shipping is included. I looked everywhere I thought they might be sold and only found these here on amazon. I even checked the weed supply hydroponic places but they didn’t have these squat sized 10 gallons. Very good portable mini-beds for seasonal planting! Love them!

These are great sturdy pots and well constructed! However, as mentioned,they are only 12 inches deep, not 18. This is not a particular issue unless you want more room. For most container planting purposes the will work great. I will go ahead and keep them as I think they will work fine for the container gardening I want to do. Just be alerted to the depth error!

I live in two-story north-facing apartment, so growing sunflowers is difficult with only half day of sun. I’ve been growing sunflowers in 5 gallon buckets for a few years so i can get them to half height in full sun in the parking lot. They work, but provide limited soil and are very prone to tipping over. These containers hold twice the soil and the diameter makes them very stable in high winds. And the quality is excellent, not as heavy duty as buckets, but much better than I expected. After receiving first order, I ordered more. And great customer service from seller.
