I originally got this for my small 5 gallon tank, it worked perfectly, corals happy, nems happy, great coverage, just wish it had an easier way to tell how bright the light was on. Once I switched to a 20 gallon tank and got a second one they don’t seem strong enough even with 2 of them. I like the ability to move the arms around if I need to adjust it, it doesn’t fit well over a standard tank lip it’s awkward and falls if you move it wrong. Cord length is nice. I wish the timer was a bit better, I don’t want it turning back on after 6 or 9 hours when it’s set to turn off after that amount of time but I also don’t want it on for 12 hours.

Price point is great,appears well made,easy to adjust light as far as brightness and has a quiet cooling fan..only one gripe..for a rimmed tank,you need to have the screw on the inside otherwise it won’t stay stable. Other than this issue,I’ve got not qualms with it and would definitely buy again. Will do another review after have had operating for awhile..

I actually use this light on a brackish tank so I cannot speak for coral growth or par. But this is a fantastic little light to try. The video starts at 100%, I go through the different color options and then decrease the intensity by 20%. The fan is super quiet also. I have several products from Hygger especially on my saltwater tank and I love their stuff.
