The 24/7 feature is awesome. It’s really a set and forget type of thing. I can’t speak to the spectrum and how good it is, but it seems like it has a good mix of blues and reds which are the most important for plants. It allows for DIY colors. Again. the 24/7 feature is awesome. Starts with predominantly red light in the morning starting at 6, 7 or 8 am depending on preference. Gradually goes through the white spectrum throughout the day and goes blue at night before turning off later on in the night. My plants seem to be happy and healthy 🙂

I am usually very generous and objective with my reviews. I try to look at a product from not just my point of view, but from that of an average customer. This particular product is designed for someone with a very advanced mind. Figuring out the set up is nearly impossible. At first, the instructions do not seem to be complicated, although I must say that there is absolutely no flow between the first step in the manual and the next. It is hard to tell if the next bullet point is a continuation of the previous one, or a completely separate action that you might choose to take. The biggest problem is not the printed material, the biggest problem is a complete dissonance between the buttons and the printed material. They just do not respond the way the manual says they should. In three days my entire family was not able to figure out how to set the lights. Occasionally, You might be lucky to hit the right button the right way at the right time, but when you proceed to the next step, or to what appears to be the next step, the first step is automatically messed up, and you end up at square one all over again. I am returning this product because it is absolutely nothing like it’s analogues for larger aquariums. I have five other Hygger lights for larger aquariums, and their set up is absolutely simplistic. This little one, for 7 inch to 12 inch aquarium is complicated to the point of being unusable. I was so relieved when I found it, because I have a very small 1 gallon hospital aquarium for my better. Now I am even more relieved to get rid of it. Note to the manufacturer: simplicity is what attracts customers.

Good light, I’m not a stupid person but wow, this in line controller is really confusing and difficult to use.

Love it. Works as intended. Very bright and the best option for this price range. Lots of color options, intensity choices and timing tweaks.
The only negative I could give is that the clamp wasn’t very large so i needed to buy an adapter for my rimmed tank. However, overall functionality was optimal.
