Like you, I also read the reviews and noticed a lot of people mentioning it was soft so I was expecting “soft” to mean “fluffy” with lots of padding. When I pulled it out of the package, it was about what you’d find in the stores….nothing too exceptional and certainly not “poofy”. I put it on my bed anyway and laid on it and OMG! The MATERIAL is soft and feels so incredibly nice!! Not poofy like I’d hoped but just the way it’s feels to lay on totally makes up for it! I’ve already washed it and it held up nicely in the washer and dryer so I’ll definitely need to buy more for my other mattresses. Definitely worth the money!

After reading some of the reviews, I did not expect a very high quality product, just adequate for extra comfort to help with some back and joint pain. I was pleasantly surprised that the mattress topper fluffed up as soon as it was out of the box, was easy to put on the mattress, and fit perfectly. The first night on it was very comfortable and we both enjoyed the mild cooling effect (if you live in the South, you need all the help you can get, especially in summertime). Excellent product for the price – highly recommend.

Just received this mattress pad and was upset by how flat it was. I have got the EASELAND mattress pad twice and it fluffed up as soon as I opened it and it was super thick. So I didn’t listen to the negative reviews and bought this one anyways and it disappointed me. But I put it in the dryer and it fluffed up some but not like it should. I contacted customer service and they are sending me a replacement. With no actions on my half. So I’m going to see if this one is fluffier. And I will update my review! But it is very soft. But seems thin. So I’m Hoping it doesn’t tear in the washer. I got this on clearance I wouldn’t pay full price for it. And the easeland brand is much better in my opinion ur for 23$ it’s worth it I think. I’ll update my review after I get my new topper
Wow I have to say I am sleeping on the one I got that didn’t fluff up right tonight while I wait on the replacement. And it is so comfy! It may not be as thick as the other mattress pad known. But it’s softer! And like sleeping on air. I didn’t think it would be this comfortable I’m impressed! Can’t wait to see how I wake up in the morning. I co sleep with my daughter and I bought jersey cotton tight tight tight fitted sheets t go bed my pillow top mattress pad so there isn’t any way she will get caught in the topper. And it feels great!
