I bought these for my 8 year old to see if hey could be trusted to take care of them. He loves the sound and being able to talk to his friends. Plus it keeps the volume on the TV down so I don’t have to hear the game.

If the mic isn’t essentially in your mouth people have a hard time hearing you. Otherwise, comfy enough, seems sturdy and the sound quality is very good. Great value for the price, just lots of mic adjustment needs to be made for every game.

gonna make this short and sweet. as a standalone headset, where the recommendation is to plug it directly into the controller, I agree with some of the negative reviews that the sound is way to low even at max volumes. which is a deal breaker for me especially when playing FPS. so I give 3 stars at best.
now my current setup is to pair this headset with the Astro Mix Amp Pro, and boy does it unlock the full potential of this headset. the sound is much louder and fuller, and the amp allows you to up the volume for the game and voice chat. I know this headset is meant to be budget friendly, so buying the mixamp on top would make this about a $150 headset. but in my opinion, it’s worth it. comfort is amazing. the clamping force on the ear and crown of the head is virtually non existant which makes its easy to game for hours without any discomfort.
I’ve only had this headset for a few days, so I can’t say much in terms of the longevity of it. I will update this review as the months pass to see how it holds up. so far, I’m very impressed and I’m hoping to keep this setup for a long time.

Had a red version back in 2020 and slept with it on every night cuz it was the only way for me to sleep. Didn’t break till like 2022 and finally got around to getting a new one. Works awesome, green this time though.

Ordered for Xbox 1 console but found it works great with my laptop, tablet, and phone. Comfortable fit, clear sound.

I bought this headsets as a backup for my Steelseries arctis nova pro and boy oh boy I’m impressed with the audio quality. Got them on prime day for $20 so I was not expecting much but this headsets let me speechless. I was like how can a MSRP $50 headsets have this audio??? And they come of course already “configured” like that. Only downside is the volume controls, it’s not very loud but once you change the settings in your Xbox oh man it’s a game changer! I can’t stress enough how good they sound, these headsets are just incredible, I’m really glad I got them!
