I bought this to read and clear codes on a 2016 Nissan Frontier that had camshaft sensor issues. It hooked up and worked flawlessly. The app connected easily and was also useful. Now its job is to sit in the toolbox and ward off future gremlins that might try to attack my cars. I am hoping the next time I use it will be on someone else’s vehicle.

Seems like it works ok but its constantly asking about getting some sort of app thing but it dosnt tell you where to find it. I had a 3260d it worked great till it just stopped coming on seems like anything i want to test i have pay some sort of $$$ but it dont tell you where a store is to go pay not sure if they mean GM or like a autozone no clue

Purchased this Innova 5210 to replace older versions that came up missing. If it works as well as its predecessors, I’ll be satisfied.
Small inexpensive tool for quick code retrieval. Most late model OBD II vehicles have on-board code retrieval capability built into their system, but. If you are working on a number of different makes/models, it’s a pain to lookup the procedure each time.

I am a long term ‘car guy’, however I grew up with carburetors, points and stuff like that. I own and drive new cars, but don’t mess with them much. Recently my 2013 Mustang lit up the check engine light. Engine ran fine, all the gauges looked good, so I took a chance and drove home. No problem. I did not want to just take the car to a dealer without knowing a bit more. I am familiar with OBD II, but do not have any experience. But it seemed simple. So, I ordered this OBD II scanner, it seemed popular and had great ratings. Received it quickly, read the instructions, which actually were simple. Then I plugged it in and read what it told me. Then I error codes showed a lot of misfires on several cylinders. But, the car ran great. With over 400 hp and 390 lbs-ft torque, I think I would feel misfires. I checked on line for these symptoms and found a factory service bulletin for exactly this problem. A faulty crank position sensor. Took it to the dealer and had the repair done. Even though it was expired, they covered the part under warrantee. This tool really helped, it was very easy to use and provided a lot of information. Paid for itself in one use. I did not use the app, but next time I will.

Used on a 2008 Hyundai Accent. Pretty much plug and play right out of the box. Read the trouble codes correctly and was able to clear them. Live data stream works well. Reader is easy to use, gives a lot of useful information, I am not a professional mechanic, but I was able to lookup my questions online if I didn’t totally know what readings I was looking at. Well built and appears to be very accurate with its readings. You can also download an app for your phone, has Bluetooth capability to capture info on your phone, I tried it, but I found just using the reader was enough. It also has a customer service number, some of the other brands I have had didn’t have any. All in all a good piece of equipment.

Wow. Reasonable price and accuracy in use. My sons engine threw an engine light and started running like crap. I bought this analyzer and hooked it up. It said my thomostat was allowing coolant to pass instead of warming up properly. I changed the thermostat and cleared the code. It was magic, the engine temp rose to medium, the check engine went out, the idle became rock smooth. I am convinced of the quality of this product.

My old scanner (from the same company) cost similar money but could access all the systems on the car where this one can only access two, the only major thinga this has going for it is it can be paired to a phone via an app and can do live data.
