This is advertised for large aggressive chewers, indestructible. Not at all true. I bought this for my 22 lb Frenchie. Day one she managed to rip open the seam on the head. Ok, no problem, I sewed it back together. Day two the seam was still intact but within minutes of giving it to her I found the head in one room and the body in another with stuffing all over the place. She loved every minute she had with this stuffed animal but it wasn’t worth the money for only 2 days of play.

UPDATE: I stand by my review for the original “Plush Toy”. BUT … the seller contacted me and offered to help, because they don’t want their customers to be unhappy with their products. I described the problem, and they said they’d contact their supplier to correct things. AND … they offered to send another dog toy that actually was indestructible.
My dog, a Border Collie – Retriever mix, loved the replacement they sent, an Orange Peanut. (He even took it to bed the first night.) This was much appreciated. But what I most appreciated was their Customer Service and Care. They don’t just say they want their customers to be happy, they actually demonstrate it by their actions. This type of care is rare these days, and I commend them for it.
Notice I’ve changed my rating from 1-star to 5-stars, this is in recognition of their Customer Service. To me, this type of care is more important than any product.
So I now fully endorse this seller. If you have an issue with a product, just contact them (through Amazon), and they will do their utmost to make things right, and to make sure you’re happy.

I bought this because it was described as “Dog Plush Toy for Large Aggressive Chewers, Indestructible Dog Squeaky Toy” (from their listing on Amazon). My dog is a Golden Retriever mix, and he’s only a “medium size aggressive chewer”. And yet, this toy lasted 10 minutes at the most.
Very disappointing … save yourself a “dog toy heartbreak”.

This toy has really surprised me! My dog, a 23lb Boston Terrier, is a very aggressive chewer and this product has somehow managed to last a whole week and is still intact! I bought this toy at the same time as I bought a few others and gave them all to him at once and he immediately picked this one as his favorite. When he decides to get aggressive with it, he seems to focus mostly on the ropes that are attached and thus the design seems to make it last longer. The rest of it seems to be fairly durable as he also goes after the ears and tail at times. But like I said, they have managed to hold up much longer than other toys. And for the price, I really think you can’t beat it! I just went in and ordered another one at for a reserve and we’ll probably do the same once he destroys it inevitably lol. Highly recommend

The bad news: the head was ripped off in the first 10 minutes. The rope legs unraveled next.

I was tired of my dog eating his beds and my kids shoes, he doesn’t eat mine because he knows that it would count as his last meal. So, tired of having to buy my kids shoe after shoe. I decided to get this so he is occupied with this and not shoes. Now. I have a 1 yr old 17pound Doxie mini, nevertheless, this little puppy managed to rip off the ear on the first day. I should have know better, but I decided against my better judgment. Maybe desperate to get him to stop eating the shoes. I dont know. I just bought it. When it came it was firm but still soft (stuffing) and I had my doubts. I had read the reviews. I read the bad first, but they were mostly of large dogs so I said to hell with it. And got it, big mistake. It lasted all of 2 weeks before the guts were spread all over my kitchen floor. The worst crime scene I have ever seen. He started with torture. He took his time to pull off it limbs. Every day I would find severed body parts. (Ears, Arms, Leg etc…) until he had had his fill and went in for the final Coup De Grace and put the poor bear out of its misery. All and all this is a total waste of time and money. FYI. We got him a buddy so he wasn’t so bored all the time. Another big mistake. Now he has a partner in crime as the cat now helps him eat the shoes. I give up

 Our dog is a 2 year old chocolate lab. He is a very aggressive chewer. Most of the other toys I have bought him on here that say they are for aggressive chewers stand up to him. He loved this as soon as he saw it, but he loves it a little too much and got stuffing out In less than 8 hours after getting it. This WILL be one of the ones that I keep around, but I will have to go behind him picking up the cotton so it doesn’t get all over the house.

My pup just turned a year old a few months ago and she mills her stuffed animal toys. This toy though, she can’t break. The material is SUPER tough. She tries her best to rip and shred and this toy will not break. Her favorite is to chew on ears and rip them off but she has yet to have success with that. The size is pretty perfect for her too. She’s a GSP and she’s on the average to medium size for her breed. Definitely super cute and again VERY durable. This dog shows zero mercy to her stuffies.
