This is undoubtedly the best way to take a temperature — fast, accurate, easy to read and doesn’t require any physical contact with the person whose temperature you’re taking. Having gone through every previous generation of thermometers, they all required touching the sick person — either in the mouth or swiping across the forehead — and therefore need to be sanitized. This is absolutely superior to all others.

The thermometer is very easy to use and read. Unfortunately, however, it is useless as a thermometer since it is not at all accurate. Comparing it with an accurate stick thermometer, it always read low by about .7 to .9 degrees. It also did not register any differently than its “normal” but incorrect temperature reading when used on a fever. I never got any reading over 98.1 degrees. When I contacted the company, I was told it was not calibrated correctly and they graciously sent me a new thermometer. However, the new one gave the same readings as the old one and was just as inaccurate. The company representatives were very nice when contacted again, but pretty much said non-contact thermometers always read lower than temperatures taken with an old fashioned stick thermometer. Yet, I never really got an answer as to how I could rely on it for an accurate temperature reading given it did not show an elevated reading for a fever compared to a reading for a normal temperature. I don’t see how I can rely on either of the iProven non-contact thermometers for any accurate temperature reading. It is so nice and easy to use, but I am back to my old fashioned stick thermometer as the only accurate way to measure body temperature.

Light-weight, comfortable to hold. Instructions for loading batteries woefully inadequate; polarity markings in battery compartment so confusing I returned first unit because I couldn’t get it to turn on. Finally, watched a video, which clearly illustrated correct battery placement.

This is the easiest thermometer I’ve ever purchased. One light squeeze of the trigger n instant reading. Can’t get any easier. You just have to hold it 2” away from the forehead n that’s it. 5stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Having just had my second baby I wanted a thermometer that was fast and easy. I really love that it’s super easy to use and read. The color on the screen also changes if they are normal, slightly warm, or have a fever. I thought that was a cool feature. Sometimes I feel like I need to retake it if i’m too far away but for the most part it’s fine!
