I like suspenders because nothing holds up your pants better than suspenders. I have numerous pairs and sometimes I don’t wear them and sometimes I wear them under my shirt with the shirt tail out. I can tell you to stay away from ones that have metal pant clips and also the ones that connect to your belt loops. The metal ones will slip although they have teeth, which can damage the fabric. The belt loop type pulls up to create a funny-looking lift at a couple of loop sites. They can also break the loops on cheaper pants. These plastic ones never slip and just work better. I have a pair that I like better, the only difference is instead of a plastic adjustment buckle, it uses velcro with no buckle. Better concealment when worn under the shirt. But it was twice the price. This war is about the most bang for the buck.

These are built with heavier materials than the belt loop hook style “hidden” suspenders I had been using. The plus side of these is that they will fit near any pant (regardless of where the belt loops are located). They clips are super strong too. The downside is that the clips and buckles are bigger and can show through lighter top layers. They also are more involved/take more time to take on and off. Once on, they stay like they were welded though!

These are not a bad pair of braces but if, like me, you want to just wear them under a polo shirt or suchlike, they are definitely not hidden, the adjusters are too big.

Easy to put on take off. I kept trying to squeeze the tab to open the teeth, that doesn’t work. Lift the tab forward, works much better. Nice to not have to keep pulling my stupid pants up. I wear these under my shirt and no one knows.

The clips do not grab you pants and hold. They slip off. Also the pins that the gripper part work their way out. Also the tightening clips and the front allow the suspenders to lengthen through the day.
In short, all the plastic parts are not designed correctly. These were a knock-off the the metal parts without confirming they would work in the long run.
Handy for getting through security screening. But that’s it. These suspenders are a more of a pain in the ass than any good. Buy if you fly twice a month and suffer with them. Otherwise go to metal.
