For the price I was expecting a bit lesser quality bag that I was hoping to make work. Was pleasantly surprised when this arrived. as its equal to rivals costing twice as much. The rain fly appears to be fully functional and should provide for years of use if taken care of. The bag is collapsable and can be converted to a backpack with included straps. This is a great feature for us as our bike is located on a small island and we use it for the majority of our shopping trips. The bag also expands and is large enough to put my full face helmet in. Ideally for my situation if the bag had a hard bottom it would make for an easier mount to my rack but I made it work with a very thin piece of veneer. My rack is not as large as the bag so the overhang could use a bit of support when heavy objects are placed in bag. This is unique to my situation and probably not an issue for other applications. Overall this is a great value for the price and I would recommend this for someone looking for a basic bag that gets the job done.

This bag is big and the straps are solid. Ive used it on my CBR and my off road ADV bike and it does not look out of place while being a good volume for clothes and tools.

Pretty simple to install, can be used as a backpack because it comes with straps you can clip on. It unclips from the bike pretty easily.
Lots of storage space in it. Good for its price point

I actually bought two of them. They have a two way (double) zipper open-close which is poor quality. The first bag had a complete zipper failure on my first tour, got home using bungees to hold it togther. The second is on the bike now, but one of the zipper heads is already jammed, the second one is still working.. The tie down fasteners to the luggage rack are constantly loosening up, very poor design. It is NOT waterproof, it comes with a bag to cover it in case of rain.. very inconvenient. I am keeping this one until the second zipper head breaks. Why? because I like the way it looks, they have the SW-Motech vibe with the reflector. When this one lets go, I’m going to find a different system. Or pony up and get a legit SW.

Last edit 8-27-23. I’m done with this cheap junk. It was extreme. I stopped to get gas, unclipped the bag, got gas, went to reclip in the back part. One of the clips broke. Not the bottom part which I might have expected, but a section of the top which is odd.

3rd edit (and bag) 7-22-23: I bought another one and continue to get frustrated. Really, there won’t be a 4th purchase of this product. I’ll find something different even if it’s more expensive. So ultimately during a wreck one of the sections where the plastic clip is sewed to the bag ripped. Not horribly, but enough where I thought stuff could get wet and I decided to place the second “newer generation” bag on. Right from the beginning of installing I had issues. This is partly on me. But trying to feed one of these larger clips through my Tusk rack. It broke. No, really. So if a clip is going to break with me just trying to push it through a small hole, how durable will it be on a dirt bike? Ultimately I made it work ok, but the bag wobbled around more than I liked with the other cheesy straps (included). Been using that for a while now. A month ago I slid out on the pavement and the bag came completely off – except for the very furthest back straps. So, for whatever reason I bought a THIRD one of these. Just installed it and I have pictures this time.

This time when I installed it I loosed the Tusk plate mounts as I feared putting pressure on the clip again to feed it through could break it. Worked like a charm, I probably should have done that last time (but didn’t expect to since I didn’t realize the clips were made bigger). Install was a no brainer…then bam, issues. I was using 3 mounting points, up front, middle and back. With the first two bags I had used the looped fastener as I’ll call it, and both broke. Those were also what I was forced to use on the second bag (see second picture). Those are garbage, serve no point, should be redesigned to be more durable or just why even include them. Soooo. I decided to use their more durable “strap” that was included but had the same type of fastener. Swell. That’s what the first picture is. Barely pulling the fastener through a hole and it came apart! If you look close enough you can tell it was a manufacturing defect. But still. What a POS! So I had to resort to using the super cheesy string fastener (picture 2). Picture 2 is the straps attached without the bag. So my latest impression of this product is this: you get what you pay for. I really have no issues and like the bag itself. For the money it’s great. But, then they made this newer generation version and changed the mounting straps, some parts are bigger – but they definitely aren’t more durable. My biggest complaint now is the really should resource/remake/reinvest in better attachments for the bag. When this one needs to be replaced I’m moving on to a different bag…

One last thing I don’t think I ever mentioned, you can see in the third picture. I have an aftermarket gas cap on my KTM 690. The gas cap, and screw in the top sit above the plate, not flush. That think will put a hole in the underside of this bag in no time. I ended up just putting several layers of heavy duty duct tape on the bag to keep it from wearing a hole in the bag. Just one ride with the first bag I purchased was enough to wear a hole all the way through. This isn’t the bag companies fault, just a note.

I bought one of these tail bags less than a year ago. I was very impressed with the bag. It swallows a bunch of stuff and seems well made. It went on a 2021 KTM 690 Enduro with Tusk rear cargo mount – installing it was pretty easy. I was able to weave the clips through the plate and tied off any extra length of straps. Basically I just leave the straps on and unclip the bag from the bike. I have a ton of tools that go in the bag and it still has space for water, shell, other stuff. Only other thing I’ll mention – some other reviews talked about it not being very water repellent. I soaked my bag down before use with water repellent spray. Nothing has ever got wet inside the bag.

So with all that this should be a five star review. I had zero issues with the bag. My problem came up when I decided to buy a second bag so I could have one for tools and one empty one to use for general cargo space. I went out today to run an errand and went to hook up the new (empty) bag. I’m still in disbelief and shaking my head. The clips on the side of the back that click into the mounting straps are different from the bag I bought earlier this year?!?!?!! WTH is that? Why? Why would you change the clips like that? They worked fine before – I had a heavy bag loaded up with tools and stuff going over super gnarly rocky, slippery roads and never once had an issue with a clip coming undone. So basically you ruined my plan for having a convenient and quick way of just clipping separate bags on. That was a really dumb idea. I’d give the easy to install category a negative number if I could. I ding the 5 star review I would give this bag down to 2 which is pretty gracious considering such a ridiculous change.

So overall the bag is great, really like it. If you are thinking you want to do something like I did and have a couple bags to swap out as needed with no hassle at all – look for a different bag.

Good sturdy bag. Straps included are handy but but a couple straps to secure the bag by the four corners to the bike rack would have been more ideal and makes it more secure to the bike. Time will tell how well the materials last but overall great quality bag and zippers so far. Would buy again.

This bag looks great. Has been very durable and comes with a rain fly. It is expandable and will hold a full faced helmet. It is easy to install and comes with attachments to convert it to a backpack if you want to take it with you. I bought 2 and have them installed on a Kawasaki KLR 650 and Versys 300.

Ive had on my bike a couple weeks. Seems to be pretty good quality, probably not as good as a Nelson Rigg bag but only a 1/3 of the cost. Wasnt 100% sure I really was going to like having a tail bag so went with this one. I’m glad I did, it doesn’t detract much from the sportbike look. I can fit a light jacket and a couple water bottles easily.Fits well on a 2015 Yamaha fz07. The only thing I wasnt real enthusiastic about was that the bag came kind of smashed, it’s not a hard case but the top is stiff to hold its shape and came kind of misshapen. It did return to the form it was supposed to have after having a jacket in it for a few days. Straps are pretty good, stays put and doesn’t move around. Yes , I would buy again at this point. If I have problems I will update my review.

I’m not putting a top case on a supersport, and I don’t like wearing a backpack… But I want to carry stuff. This fits the bill, and matches the look, would recommend.

… I can’t speak to longevity, since I only had it a few days, but I CAN say it’s secure: I hit 150mph, and it’s still there 😀

This was my goto bag for the back of my motorcycle. It holds a good amount of stuff in it and fits (barely) on the tiny back rack of my Svartpilan. Unfortunately the zipper burst one day when I got too zealous about tightening the compression straps. It’s a self repairing zipper, so I was able to get it working again, but now it will separate too easily and I can’t trust it to hold my stuff. My last trip with it, I had to borrow a bungie strap to get my stuff home. I’ve reached out to the seller via their website and hoping to hear back. Will update this if/when I hear back.
