These look terrible when worn under clothes. The buckles are obvious even under a baggy shirt; and it’s reasonably easy to see the straps through a loose shirt. It’s not a very soft material, so anyone that is sensitive about textures touching their skin will not like these unless worn over an undershirt. If you wear them over clothing, like a typical suspender, then they’re probably not bad; but they would not be very stylish because of the chunky clamp that connects to the pants and the large buckles that allow for adjustment.

You really can wear these under clothes and still be comfortable. I was skeptical about the shallow clip depth, but they honestly hold really well.

These have plastic jaws that are gentle on the waistline cloth. The other suspenders have jaws like bear traps. It will be nice to pass through TSA screening without my pants falling down (very embarrassing).
Only suggestion is that since the jaws are relatively gentle, they might be made a bit deeper. This way they would grab more of the fabric and would be less likely to slip off.

These are good suspenders, I was however a bit disappointed in the width of them as I put in ‘thin suspenders’ in my search bar. The clip for adjusting size on the front is rather large or thick as well. The clips make noticeable bulging through the shirts even when it’s one, two or even a hoodie. These are well made, just not what I was excepting, or looking for.

Not being so blessed as to have a ghetto booty to help hold my pants up, I find these very useful for times when I do ITW carry. The clips in spite of being plastic are sturdy and grip well, and I haven’t had issues with them digging into me and causing discomfort when I sit, especially as I wear these under my shirt rather than over. They’ll clip fine to trousers, but I prefer to clip them to my belt. Now if it’s a particularly thick belt such as the 5.11 belt I have or my leather belt, it won’t work that well and you should clip them to your trousers instead. All in all, yes, I would recommend these.

Very nice construction, comfortable to wear. The only con is if you wear them without an undershirt, the stitching may irritate you back a little bit but can be remedied with a little tape or mole skin. Construction is high quality and clasps are secure. One other consideration is that the adjuster is a little bulky and shows under one’s shirt.

These suspenders are very comfortable under my t-shirt. The clips feel strong and grip my pants well.
The problem is, they are almost entirely elastic. The point was to hold my pants up, and I feel like I am constantly adjusting these tighter and tighter, but I guess the weight of my pants is too much for the elastic to hold.

I was concerned about these holding up my pants as my pockets and belt are often fitted with heavy gear. They work fine, and no problems are noted. Wearing them against the skin is okay and takes a little getting used to. I would buy these again.

Some pants have higher waists than others. That’s why I love these easily adjustable straps. The material is soft enough and it’s easy to change where you attach them to the front of your pants to avoid rubbing on your nipples when wearing under your shirt.

very uncomfortable to wear next to skin. it is heavy duty but there is no attempt to use soft materials that might be comfortable to feel against skin. my ordinary braces are much moe comfortable next to skin.
